i totally agree. I also hate when people go multiple times. I think it is very selfish. And so many people go, but they paid for them so its a you problem, she paid for them, its her money nothing selfish about it. No, i a disagree. If you were at a massive feast, where you had to pay for the food, and a rich guy came and bought all of it, shoving his face infront of a starving homeless (say he had a few dollars on him) you wouldn't tell the homeless its a you problem, nothing selfish there. No, majority of the world would agree that the rich guys could've left some of the food for the homeless person to buy because the rich guy already had more than enough. i missed out on tickets. I had never cried harder over anything. And as an australian, where ive seen americans who have gone to the US shows, buying our tickets infuriates me. or even aussies going to multiple shows. I would've given every dollar i have to see her once in the nosebleeds but those selfish people stopped me from that.

They literally had 60+ shows and we get 7. Stick to ur own country. Australia was already getting everyone from NZ, and SE Asia because of limited locations.

My unpopular opinion is that swifties can be a really toxic fanbase sometimes. Like, we get mad at the media for the slutshame theyd put Taylor through, painting her as a predator who’s only looking for the next victim to write songs about, but at the same time the “fans” keep over analyzing her lyrics looking for someone to “blame” for possible heartbreaks. Reputation’s prologue states: “when this album comes out, gossip blogs will scour the lyrics for the men they can attribute to each song, as if the inspiration for music is as simple and basic as a paternity test”. And yet this is exactly what fans have been doing, especially this past week.It's honestly insane how many tiktok videos I’ve seen of people going CRAZY trying to figure out if some sad songs from folklore/evermore are actually about Joe Alwyn or even the timeline of their relationship. Why does it matter?! Taylor also criticized the media treating her songwriting "like a trick rather than a skill”, but now all everyone can talk about is how they hope TS11 will be the death of Joe. I mean?? Can’t people see they’re reproducing the exact same toxic behavior that Taylor constantly complains about from the media? We’re talking about human beings, not your own personal The Sims game or fanfic story. Mind you, Joe Alwyn never once shared anything about his personal life so that no one could feel entitled to an opinion about it and still the guy had to turn off comments on his Instagram account because of the amount of hate messages he was getting. Guess what will happen to Travis (who talks about Taylor once a week on his podcast and shares details of their relationship on interviews) if this doesn’t work out. People need to touch grass and remind themselves that relating to Taylor Swift’s songs and feelings doesn’t give you the right to live through her life. You feel close to Taylor only because she’s a songwriter genius not because you know her. Enjoy the music and leave the people alone, go get your own life.
I recently got into the online fandom again around Red tv bc of my algorithm but nowadays it’s all Stan wars with Beyoncé fans (???) and people hating Joe in the most insane ways and it’s so toxic. People discrediting the fact that he has writing credits on folklore, evermore, and Midnights and saying that she should take his folklore Grammy from him as if Taylor would lie about things like that. It’s so immature, like just leave the guy alone, we don’t know anything about their breakup and also long term relationships between adults can fall apart and it can hurt but that doesn’t make anyone a bad person. If something bad about their breakup actually came out, then that’s different, but they treat him not making every interview he did for his work all about her is on par with abuse and it makes my head hurt. From the same people who get mad at the media for making everything she does about the men she dates.

I am baffled by the opinion at 17:58. Omg the privilege. Repetitive? Boring? The concert she does in Argentina for example is not for YOU. It’s for the people there. We were waiting for years to see her live (my huge swiftie friends were waiting for like 14 years) and we loved every second.
Also, we had also seen things online and were excited to see them live. If she changed it, it would be a disservice to those who had to wait over a year for the tour to arrive at their stop.
Livestreams to the shows are a privilege and something super out of the ordinary.

im from the U.S. and I 100% agree. the Eras Tour was the first time i’ve seen her live- the first time i’ve seen anyone live! it was my first concert. i never got to go with my friends because my mom said it was a waste of money. i wouldn’t have even gone if my friends’ sister hadn’t unexpectedly bailed 6 hours before the show. it’s just crazy how some people don’t even consider the situations of others, ever. sheltered and honestly selfish attitude.
btw i know as an american she’s had SO many shows in my country, even just in my state so i’m not trying to say it’s the same situation, just that i agree that it’s ridiculous how people just get used to such amazing things like live concerts and take them for granted.

Right?! I haven't seen the film, and have only seen snippets of songs online. I'm not seeing the concert until July. People really need to understand that the US is not the entire world, just because they have already seen it does not mean it will be repetitive for everyone. And to use the internet's most hateful/annoying saying "Just don't watch it, then".
Girl, don't stress about your outfit for the tour. It's a long show, not to mention watching the opening act, getting to your seat, standing in merch/concession/bathroom lines. And it's outside. Wear what makes you happy and comfortable and don't feel like you're letting us down if you don't do something elaborate. 💖

This. I was at Gillette Stadium N2 which was a torrential downpour. I was in my cute dress and poncho and was FREEZING and soaking wet so I gave up and put on the sweatpants I had brought 😂

I think objectively, her best song is Woulda Coulda Shoulda. The depth, the maturity, the darkness, the pain, the perfect religious imagery that runs through all of it, the melodies in the verse, chorus and bridge, the 'girlhood' scream, the way she just keeps going in the outro ... it is her pinnacle so far.

It def has the lyrical content but not the musical content in my opinion. There are no melodies that I love or sections I can't get out of my head. I don't crave to listen to it over and over again. Respect if you do love it though 😁

The only “unpopular opinion” I have is that i’m really tired of the way her fans are treating her new relationship with Travis, they’re posting crap like “imagine if he proposes to her when she sings love story!!!!!” i’m just like, can we stop? people are treating this like they’re fictional characters that they’re freaking out about, and to me it’s cringe as hell, all the edits and photos and things, i’m over it. These are real people, and they’ve been going out for like 2 months and you all are talking marriage and kids… this isn’t your relationship, stop talking about it like that.

I agree with you. Even more of an unpopular opinion from me, I really don't care about the KC Chiefs. I will always be a Seahawks and 49ers girl simply because Seattle and the Bay Area are where my life improved and got to know a lot of my personal people better by joining them at season ticket games. I have no personal correlation to Kansas City so I tend to avoid games regarding it. Taylor won't change my mind on it. I'm very hometown-heavy.

And adding onto that, if and/or when they break up, there will be a large group of fans, many the same who say the stuff you mentioned, who IMMEDIATELY will pull the "I never liked him," "he never deserved her," and just generally turn on him and direct a lot of hate towards him. This fandom is waaaaay to overly invested in Taylor's personal choices. She shares what she wants to share and her music reflects that, and that should be it.
I wouldn't say Run is the BEST vault track from Red but I do really really love it. It reminds me of the softer vault songs from Fearless, and I just love Taylor's slower songs. To me they're such a sad autumn girl vibe.

It makes me so sad seeing people hating on him so much these days, especially since we don't know all of what went down and he was such a support system for her during the post-1989 and rep eras when she needed it. He def would be hated for taking advantage of her fame if it was the other way around.
I made the mistake of going on TikTok and coming across a video where someone called themself a "Joe Alwyn hate account" and called him "greedy" and "fame hungry", "jealous of TS's spotlight" and "lying about his aversion to the limelight" because he ... *checks notes* went to the GQ awards, aka the first event he went to in six months, most likely for work. Like people with anxiety don't every now and then want to go out and do things. These are the kinds of people that would accuse someone with depression of lying about it because they "seem so happy right now". (not speaking from personal experience at all...)

Have people not seen the photo of Taylor leaving on a boat? You can feel her sadness from miles away of course it was a real relationship. And they were so young, even if it was only a 3 month relationship that feels like forever when you’re young. People who say that relationship couldn’t have inspired many songs probably haven’t had their heart ripped out. Length of time doesn’t matter, Taylor is all in when it comes to relationships.
Especially when the relationship is on and off, that makes it so much more emotionally draining and inspires so many feelings.
And it’s literally in writing in MULTIPLE songs that they broke up but they kept seeing each other on and off on occasion. Style, Suburban Legends, Clean, Is It Over Now, and on and on

My (probably not) unpopular opinion is that we need to stop pretending her relationships are so black and white. We don’t need to walk away from each of her relationships thinking that she’s a victim and the man she dated was a monster. Things are complicated, and it takes two for a relationship to crumble. It’s easy to act like Taylor’s the hero when we only ever hear her side of the story with these relationships, but it’s disingenuous to assume we understand the situations well enough to form such concrete opinions.
I 100% agree with you about Me! I’ve been a me girlie since day one because I have such a lovely memory of how I discovered it when it was released. Seeing the hate she gets for that song breaks my heart because you can clearly see how much fun she had making the music video, whenever she performed it live, that’s how she adopted Benjamin. Even in Rio she exclaimed “Oh my gosh Rio we’re actually singing this song!” She was so happy and it makes me sad that it doesn’t have the same amount of love from fans that Taylor has it for it. Also spelling is fun!!
Also outfit idea, I dressed in the anti-hero body suit for the eras film, I hardly saw anyone in that outfit for the ears tour.
I remember watching the livestream where she started singing me. 1) I was floored. I thought that'd be a song to be buried forever. 2) I was really nervous for the reaction on social media. However... 3) I was so happy for her to watch the livestream and hear Rio be in complete excitement and have so much fun singing that song, and then see how happy she was to see how happy they were with it.
Me! is one of my favorite songs. I love the performance video when she opened the Billboard Awards. She looked so gorgeous, the performance and everything she had going on in that performance was so much fun. Loved the colors. Happy, motivating self-love message.

The Eras tour getting repetitive just makes me laugh because it's like babe no one is forcing you to watch it on live every week! You can just look up the performances you want to see or just the surprise song section without having to watch the whole show multiple times a week!

I just want to point out that while yes, a lot of concerts are super scripted and meticulously planned, there are plenty of bands/artists that change things up a lot. That being said, Taylors concerts *are* more like a broadway show because theyre so theatrical, and that means the setlist has to stay pretty consistent. And i do agree that it's weird to be seeing this much of a concert before and/or after going in person. Its better if you actually get to see it. I was definitely not sick of it when i went lol
I wish there were mashups too. For past tours, it’s the mashups that I keep going back to like Enchanted/Wildest Dreams, New Year’s Day/Long Live. That really is a missed opportunity. I hope by resetting the surprise songs, we get more Is It Over Now?/Out of the Woods moments. But one thing I love about the tour is that she has played most of all of her songs during the acoustic sets, hits and b-sides. Every song deserves to be there, every song makes her the person she is today. The acoustic set is truly the best part of the show.

The thing that frustrates me about the Taylor Swift related brand of slut shaming is it’s almost its own brand of parasocial relationship in itself. I’ve seen multiple people armchair diagnosing her as someone with commitment issues who needs to see a therapist because she “can’t be single” to them having to invent reasons to hate her more than other celebrities who “date a lot” and/or write breakup songs. I literally had someone try to argue with me that Karma is a song about revenge on her exes the other day…um, I don’t mean to sound gatekeepy, but tell me you don’t actually know anything about Taylor without telling me?

I got emotional with you when talking about the level she’s at as it relates to other iconic music names (Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, etc). A lot of younger/newer Swifties don’t know or remember what it was like to be a Swiftie when it wasn’t cool to like Taylor Swift! It got to a point where I felt like I was in the closet with my love for her bc when people found out I was a fan they would immediately start insulting my taste in music, or worse, insulting Taylor and that felt like such a personal attack 🤣 It makes my heart soar to see her get the recognition she absolutely deserves ❤
as a younger swiftie, it’s kinda still like that. i’m in high school so girls are in their pick me phase and boys are in their andrew tate phase. the gays all love taylor though 😂. i have a couple friends that love her too, but so many people swear they hate her. and then they’ll say they love “this is what you came for” and i just laugh knowing taylor wrote that. every laufey fan i know hates taylor too 😭 (not me though). it’s gotten way better im sure but kids will always be cruel. i used to have extreme anxiety about sharing my music taste because my friends judged it so hard but eventually as i kept connecting to music i realized what i liked was true for me and they weren’t gonna take that. so now i’m unapologetically a swiftie, and if that makes me basic, im ok with that.

I started loving Fall Out Boy because of Electric Touch!
Since Taylor revealed the vault tracks, I had a feeling Electric Touch was going to be my favourite and I was right. The title itself was so appealing to me that I decided to listen to FOB's discography and now I'm a fan. My favourite song is "Tiffany Blews", I LOVE THEM

I think All Ten Well is like the national anthem. Whenever it starts I feel the urge to stand up with my hand over my heart and just sing it while thinking about the song itself, but also how important it was for her to write and the history behind it in the fandom. I don't know if I can decide on a single best song, which is why I would pick All Ten Well if I had to pick only one - just because of its importance and history in addition to the song itself. But you're right, I could also make a case for WCS or My Tears Ricochet.

I actually agree that taylor is probably working on TS11 but to put it out before the eras tour ends would kind of mess up the whole concept of the tour, right? she basically either has to completely ignore one era or add a whole new one, which I think wouldn’t be ideal either way. in my opinion she wants to own all of her music at the end of tour so then she can enter a whole new era/aesthetic afterwards…

This is not a point in the video but I have just been wanting to say it. I think Reputation TV when we get it will be the hardest re-recording for her to do. And it is not because of the vocal elements but because of the sentiment the songs hold. This is because Reputation is the first album that talks about how much she loved Joe Alwyn. Even though she is in a very happy and healthy relationship right now with Travis Kelce, I think songs such as “Dancing With Our Hands Tied”, “King of My Heart” and maybe “Delicate”, “Gorgeous”, and “Dress”, will be hard for her to re-record because she is singing about someone, who is now an ex, that she was together with for 6 years that she loved and who was with her during one of the hardest times of her life. The songs may be even harder for her to redo because of how the two could have broken up, but of course the reason has never actually been put out in the public and I do not think it ever will be. I do know for sure though that if “You’re Losing Me” was actually about Joe Alwyn, I don’t think that relationship ended on the best terms.
For eras tour costume ideas:
-It’s totally ok to feel creative burnout, I’m sorry you feel pressure to do something new.
-Focus on what would make you the happiest to dress as, even if you’ve worn it before.
-Maybe go as debut Taylor? Or Fearless, or speak now, since you mentioned they are your faves?

My unpopular opinion is that I don't really care about the rerecords getting a full era, they already had their eras like the videos and stuff is fun but really it's about her owning her music.
It’s also for the new swifties who weren’t there for the original eras. I believe the re-recordings deserve their time in the spotlight solely so the new swifties can experience a dash of what older ones experienced. It’s a bit exclusive to just say they don’t need their own eras just became they already had one.
I LOVE Run as well!! It’s not my favorite vault track on Red TV, but I love it so much! The way their voices sound together especially in the first verse is just so beautiful!

I completely agree, we got so much from Taylor this year, Speak Now TV and 1989 TV need their time to shine! She's so proud of them, so people just screaming rep at her during acoustic sets felt rude, and I hope her feelings weren't hurt. Fans clown so much they forget to be grateful/logical in what Taylor will launch next. Each TV album was two drops per year, rep and debut will be the same most likely.
I know I genuinely saw that and felt so bad for Taylor like I would go home (or back to her hotel or wherever she stays) and think about that and be sad about it and I really hope that’s not what happens cuz it was really uncalled for and selfish

Also forever winter! honestly i don’t think 1989 had the best vaults, just look at red! speak now might be my least favorite becsude i felt a bit let down by the folklore/evermore vibe. like i thought haley williams would be featured on a song that sounded more like misery business, or that fall out boy would have a song more like his genre. and i get it, it kinda was, but the songs all felt so subdued. i can see you is really really good, but i was hoping for some more 2000’s pop rock 😂

I watched the eras tour movie the first night it came out and all of the teenage girls stood in front of the screen and belted out ‘We are never ever getting back together’ and ‘22’ while dancing their hearts out. That is in my top 5 fav eras in the tour.

I can't pick a favorite vault track, but I absolutely LOVE Run! It makes me think of the early days of my relationship with my partner (of over 12 years) and the want for a relationship to be an escape, but also a safe space, like the feeling of being genuine and yourself with someone makes you feel. It doesn't always work out, and the early days of my relationship were a lil messy cause high school lol but I do think Run is extremely underrated and it's just as good as the other vaults imo❤

I avoided all eras tour media until after I saw it. I actually didn’t even know if I was going to get to see it. I won tickets to Cincy in April from Cap1. But I knew I might eventually get tickets and I wanted to go in with zero expectations. I’m so glad I did. I of course caught various headlines (jumping into stage, mic not working, etc.) and knew several songs that were on the setlist. But for the most part I was seeing/hearing it all for the first time😊

I always saw 1989 as a mixed album. Wildest dreams, This love, and clean always felt beachy to me, meanwhile the other songs felt New York/city

hey ally! about the eras tour outfit, my biggest advice is dont stress yourself out! wear something that genuinely makes you happy and is comfortable! one of my favorite parts about my show was the weeks before getting to piece my outfit and friendship bracelets together with my friends. let it be a fun creative project, dont worry about outdoing yourself. if that means a cute dress and cowgirl boots, or a crazy mastermind level outfit, then do you!! thank you for your content and creating a safe space! 🫶🫶🫶

I have an Eras Tour outfit idea! Okay, so I know that so many people do the Junior Jewels shirt, BUT maybe you could DIY a shirt to say Junior Jewels without any of the signatures or Taylor’s album titles and instead ask people that you meet at the concert to sign their first name on the shirt.

My guess is that they are going to come out with an Eras documentary - they're still filming, and they wouldn't be doing so if they didn't have other plans. I think that is what they set out to do all along and then the idea of the Eras Tour Movie probably came out of Taylor's brain at some point (they only used footage from the LA shows!)

I don’t know if anyone else feels this way but when I listen to 1989 Taylor’s version it almost feels like a movie in my head. I see this girl in New York who was dating a guy and their relationship didn’t work and then she goes on like this whole self change journey where she realize she doesn’t need a man she just need to self hence the song clean, and then once we start getting into the boat tracks, it’s almost like she’s realizing New York is not great for her and she moves back to California or a beachy area and I just almost feels like in the vault tracks you can see her growing up, also sorry for any bad grammar or miss spelling. I’m very dyslexic.

I’ve always found it insanely weird that choosing acting or singing as a career just automatically means we deserve to know about peoples lives. Like imagine Benjamin working at law firm seemingly minding his own business and then people are going online talking about his love life… like WOT IS THIS WEIRD CULTURE WE HAVE CREATED?!
Also, I was at that LA show. She was VERY scripted and polished that night. We didn’t even get an ounce of talking before her acoustic songs because she needed to get death by a thousand cuts right. But it’s because they were recording, and it was an amazing performance! End of story

My BIGGEST advice for an eras tour costume is COMFORT! You are gonna be in that hot venue for hours and you’ll be dancing the whole time. Also, because everything n has been done, do whatever speaks to you! I stressed about my outfit so much before going, but when I was there, it was the last thing on my mind.
I do love Run haha. I honestly didn’t even know that people didn’t like it so this was shocking to hear! I just love Taylor and Ed’s vocals together and the guitar takes me away! ❤
