I have to question the motives of some of these woke snowflakes. It definitely isn’t going to benefit black people.
woke snowflakes all have the same motives, the topic does not matter. the actual issue with all of them is the lack of self-love so they constantly require external confirmation. when you constantly rely on external confirmation too much, you end up either on the extreme left (wokism) or extreme right (fascism). so here you go, the motive is simple: "i can't reaffirm myself, i need an agenda, so that other people can praise me for doing good" -- also, it does NOT need to be benefitial to others, on the contrary, it is even totally fine if it hurts the actual cause, as long as in someone's mind their deed is still percieved as the right thing. and yes, this is identical to terrorists for example who would kill innocent civilians "for the cause" -- its the same mental gymnastics, based on a deep-rooted lack of selflove.
Some people use the words "compensated the slave owners".

If I were black, brown, light-skinned, yellow, silver, magenta, thats just my tone. I can't see a real reason to be proud of your skin tone. Instead, I'm proud of my accomplishments and achievements in the face of adversity. ESPECIALLY when I or others are doubting me and I find strength to overcome. That has nothing to do with my skintone but my will.

I actually worked with a man who was married to a Tongan Princess. He was a white NZer. I remember when he was ill in hospital. She didn't have a driver's license so the Tongan embassy would send a car to drive her to see him. No idea if he ever appeared on their balcony

I was born white and the world wants us to be guilty for being born white which we had no control over so they can point all the blame on one ethnicity and feel empowered . films and movie love to portray the white people as the villains most of the time. it makes me laugh that these same people speak about history and mention slavery but they have no clue about the Barbary pirates and the Barbary slave trade, if they did then they would known that there where white slaves too but hey I've not seen in any documentary's or films mentioning it . the white slave trade was a thing but where's our apology for the enslavement of our white Ancestors , yet they except us to apologize for our ancestors but they won't do the same hypocritical.
People like this try to define people by what they are, not what they do. They're treating people as groups, not individuals. And that's a dangerous road to go down as any historian will tell you.

What bridgerton was probably trying to suggest or imply was that Queen Charlotte was of African (moorish) ancestry. Although it’s clearly debatable (what her tone was or why it matters at all) her family tree suggests that she decends from a mistress to the king of Portugal from the 1200’s who was moorish.

In this day and age I find it very hard to believe that with people being homeless, starving and mental illness in the world that they worry about the color of someone’s skin. You need to deal with it, or if you don’t like it then you need to move somewhere else to your liking.
