I feel like it should be Roboat Gillman in 40k trying to process 30k in flashbacks. Gives us tastes of both universes and shows the tone shift of the glorious crusade era vs the depression of the future. And I want the pencil scene NGL. 😂😅
I think it entirely depends on the show. There are some adaptations on amazon that are pretty faithful and others...not so much. Hopefully with a team committed to faithfully adapting it from the source material, we might end up getting a good one. Only time will tell though.
That depends on whether or not Games workshop forces Henry to use the new "lore" in that supposedly according to them, has always been there. I'm sure he'll quit if thats the case. @@The_Movie_Bandit
We don't know. The original deal GW was looking at was for the dude who did man in a high castle to work on an eisenhorn TV series. Nothing has been heard about that. Henry was then signed much later. It is entirely possible the Eisenhorn series never got off the ground and Henry is going in a different direction. We just don't know as there has been no new info.

A little of Judge Dredd, a pinch of Dune, a teaspoon of Starship Troopers etc etc. Later during second and third edition it changed and remained static into what we had. And it became the Imperium is right wing not because they want to be, but because they NEED to be to survive. The imperium is besieged on all sides, by xenos, traitors, heretics and chaos. Much of their technology is either lost or corrupted by scrapcode. The piresthood of Mars´s ban on innovation is partially due to dogmatic belief that they peaked during the golden age of technology. But also because they can´t afford to lose even one piece of equipment. As while they do know how to restore it if it breaks, they don´t know how to make a new one. So they can´t risk tampering with something and accidentally breaking it. Also they are at a constant war, in order for the imperium to survive they need a constant flow of equipment and ammunition. The martian priesthood don´t have time to start tinkering with new stuff. So no after second edition there was no "wokeness" In Warhammer 40k.
Since when has Warhammer not had strong female characters? They introduced the Sororitas in the 90s, there have always been badass female inquisitors, and badass female guardsmen since the 3rd Gaunt’s Ghosts book…

There would be an equal outrage in starting to push men into Sisters of Battle and Sisters of Silence. Why? Because they don´t belong there. The lore of Custodes have, since first edition right up to the previous edition, been that they where men and that they recruited from terran noble Sons. Same with the sisters of battle where the lore specifically says, no man under arms are allowed. Which is why nobody wants men pushed into the Sisters of Battle, they don´t belong there.
