I've just discovered this song and I'm speechless of how beautiful the music is. Along with this, I've discovered this song in such a low point of my life which includes not being able to share this song to that person that I wanted give my heart to, just another unrequited love. Definitely one of the most sumptuously gorgeous cover versions - by any band - of all time. Never got the kudos or recognition it clearly deserved. If it was given more airplay at the time it would have been a much much bigger hit than it ended up being [72 in the charts - their only 'hit']. Video is a hoot in typical Pale Saints fashion of course. Plus....the chiming guitar and drums are so Smiths-like it's untrue. ;)

I bought it when it came out. It wasn't a hit , a niche single from a niche but great band. At the time I thought it a bit old fashioned, I liked it
cmon, cocteau twins and shoegaze bands had been around so it wasnt that revolutionary, but i really love this song
