    I just don't do them any more, the pain I get in my toe always makes me fail way before my muscle does. I replaced them with a single leg press not the most ideal I know

      Sorry to hear that Joseph. Is it the back foot that's painful during this exercise? If yes, although it's a more challenging version, the Bulgarian split squats may work better for you as the back foot is resting on the bench. Alternatively, the Single-leg Leg Press (as you're currently doing) is a pretty good option.

      Just where the toe bends at the back it was always getting bruised so I stopped doing it. Doesn't help that I have balance issues either. Annoyingly the walking Lunge really feels good for me apart from the toe bend and bruising xd @@timbullici
