we throw Asia and Mateo on the spot to see what they think. What did you think? Is there another Tupac song we can listen to!?
Asias Music:
...
Today we got Mateo and Asia. Two BandHouse regulars who are need to be educated in 90s rap! Thanks for all the love in the comments. We are here to listen and learn about other styles of music.
"Holler If You Hear Me" Tupac
Opening with a thumping beat and a sample from Funkadelic's "Get Off Your Ass and Jam", "Holler If You Hear Me" sets the tone for a passionate and urgent call to action. Tupac's lyrics speak to the struggles and injustices faced by African Americans in America, from poverty and police brutality to racial profiling and discrimination.
Throughout the song, Tupac urges his listeners to stand up for their rights and demand change, using his signature blend of vivid imagery and raw emotion. He speaks of the power of unity and the importance of never giving up in the face of adversity.
As the song reaches its climax, Tupac's flow becomes more intense, building to a crescendo of anger and frustration. He demands to know why society continues to ignore the plight of black people, challenging his listeners to join him in a fight for justice.
With its powerful message and memorable hook, "Holler If You Hear Me" remains a standout track in Tupac's legendary catalog. At Bandhouse Studios, we recognize its enduring impact and continue to honor its legacy as an anthem for social justice and empowerment.

It Feels Michael Jacksoney! | First Time Hearing Tupac (Reaction!)
i wouldnt expect THEM to understand or care about the message of this song 😂 lets be honest here
Thanks!
@@DarrylMcKinney-cx9ow incorrect.
Tupac " They don't give a f about us"
👍👍
You won’t be disappointed
Nobody’s don’t gives a F about guys except Puffy
Michael Jackson has a song called "They don't care about us" and so Tupac made a song called "They don't give a fuck about us" with the same spirit.
Dope. Another fun connection!
@@BandHouseStudios React to both songs together, I don't think anyone on UA-cam has done that. There are also mesh remixes, unofficial where people put the two songs together.
But its would be cool to see someone react to both and compare, I personally love both songs. Michael Jackson also had to do two videos (versions) for his song. One in Brazil and on in Prison. Really powerful.
One more connection, in Tupac's song "Who do you believe in" he says the line "Can't close my eyes cause all I see is terror, I hate the man in the mirror cause his reflection makes the pain turn realer", which is a reference to Micheal Jackson's song "Man in the Mirror"
@@matoscu dope!
@@matoscu that's a great idea!
It's so disrespectful to 2pac this song was for blacks getting beaten by cops...plus you never react the whole time...but not one time... rap ain't 4 everybody
I agree with you 100%, it was a disrespectful so-called listen, to a Tupac song I've ever ran across since I've been watching reaction videos! They didn't attempt to listen to the song! Just made some weak Michael Jackson comparison!
Facts..
The lyrics were obviously heavy. I dont think they intended to be disrespectful. Maybe you have another song that we could listen to?
I think this definitely isn’t the best Tupac song to react to as it’s more of his early flow rather than what was most common for him. I recommend classics like Dear Mama and Keep Ya Head Up, BUT also the other side of Tupac like Ambitionz Az A Ridah, Hit ‘Em Up, and I Get Around.
Sweet will do thanks!
More 2pac!!
Will do!
Its hip hop so the main focus are the lyrics , just because u said u dont know what to react to.....
Thanks!
Disrespectful mofoz
How so? They seemed to enjoy it
Look Mateo when the guy said nude , lolll
Thanks for watching! Who do you want us to react to next!? Comment below!
Do you want more Taylor and Steven..? What about RJ, Mateo, and Asia? Let us know who needs to be educated! 😅
Thanks for the love in the comments. It feels amazing to finally dive in to these great songs that we missed.

React to? You told me that this wasn't a reaction channel, which is it?
@@DarrylMcKinney-cx9ow it's a music channel so we wanted to learn about more different genres of music.
-who do you want us to react to next!?
Old crazy Busta rhymes songs of course lol.
Why not try a react with more than 2 at once? And switching it up is nice. I like how the music i grew up with can still be (somewhat) new to people, and the different point of view is great.
@@clueless3703 Awesome thannk you!
Definitely not a song to start with in my opinion
Yeah.. it's one that was recommended but I kinda figured it wasnt his best song. No shade to it tho! What's a better one?
Changes or Dear Mama are probably a good start
@@jayeh4375 thanks jay!
He died on my birthday same day same year
Oh shit!
No more pain
Str8 ballin
Thanks!
If want to know how to react, be quiet and listen to what's being said! That is more important than the music. I'm watching you guys consistently pause to comment on anything other than the message in what's being said. You've been told this before. You're not going to pass the smell test with anybody who truly appreciates hip hop.
Thanks for the comment!
Mama's just a lil girl - 2pac
Thanks will do!
@@BandHouseStudios no, thank you !!

They talked the whole damn song and missed everything lol good on yall for atleast attempting to tackle this one. It's definitely undergrad level of hip hop for people who don't listen to it.
Corny as hell
Y'all completely missed the message.
And all the bassline!
No the best song to start of with 😂, it’s a deep song with a pretty obvious message behind it but not everyone could relate.
The more songs about that topic the better
@@BandHouseStudios I’d say it’s for hardcore Pac fans who have a deep knowledge about him lol.

Coming up!
This is really bad. If you’ve never heard Tupac by the time you’re grown, we don’t want you
It's important to remember that everyone has different experiences and exposure to various forms of art and music. Just because someone hasn't heard Tupac's music before doesn't mean they're any less valuable or valid as a person. It's important to approach others with kindness and understanding, rather than judgement and exclusion. It's always an opportunity to introduce someone to something new and expand their horizons.
Absolutely the worst reaction to a Tupac song that I've seen on a reaction channel! I know that this comment will get deleted.
@@BandHouseStudiosbut it's a reaction to Tupac's music and his message! It was horrible! Yall should take this shit down! For real! 😠 😡
@@kimb6900 will do immediately
I see that you deleted my comment, I see that you can't handle a little constructive criticism, so sad, I'm kinda disappointed!
It ain't the criticism. It's the negativity.
@@BandHouseStudios I was trying to be helpful in my first comment, but since I didn't praise you, you had a problem with it! I was being honest when I said you talked too much doing the song. You didn't seem interested in hearing Tupac's music, so why do you even play the song!
@@DarrylMcKinney-cx9ow it was requested we try it out! Great song.
@@BandHouseStudios My apologies, I think that I was too critical how the way I addressed my disappointment in your reaction. I was too judgmental, I'm looking forward to some other of your reactions. My bad!
