And we're back bringing you the new 9th Generation Smart Keyboard for the iPad 10.2". I had previously made a review on the smart keyboard with an unfavorable verdict BUT today it seems that has changed. Whether you just bought a new iPad and you're looking for a keyboard or if you're trying to upgrade your previous Smart Keyboard to the new 2021 version, I highly recommend getting Apple's first-party keyboard.
Aside from the sleek look and the premium material, this keyboard seems like it's worth the price. ESPECIALLY if you're a student, professional, or casual iPad user. Apple's Smart keyboard is sturdy and provides protection to the front portion of the iPad.

I bought the ProCase iPad 10.2 Back Case with Pencil Holder. Protects the back, compatible with the keyboard, and includes a slot for your Apple Pencil. Perfect solution!
I also bought it. Do you have scratches on the frames of the Ipad after taking it out from the case.

Question. Is there a guide for using the keyboard? Description of the key combinations to use with iPad 9 gen? I just got it and is coming soon. I am blind and can not find a guide on where the keys are.

I chose the Logitech Combo Touch. It’s using the same pogo pins for connection, has backlight, full body protection, functions keys and a trackpad. Although it’s nearly impossible to use on my laps due to the kickstand, overall it’s a better deal.

It is a much better deal, I’ve been using a Combo Touch with the iPad 8th Generation, so coming up on 3 years now. I find it easily usable on my lap though, that’s where i usually use it since i don’t have a proper desk in my room (2nd year uni student). It’s an amazing bit of kit
This keyboard has been around since the IPad Pro was devised , I have an IPad Pro 2nd Generation Apple Tech changed my first one after 18 months because it wouldn’t connect to the IPad the same is happening now, the problem is the 3 prong connection they are on springs and after time they fold down into the connection and won’t work any longer .
£200+ every time you want a keyboard that works is a bit much . You’d of thought Apple would of fixed this problem by now wouldn’t you ?

I personally find full body protection to be much needed, so I got a full body case that covers the pins needed for connection to this product, but it does seem cool, I just wish the product would cover the whole iPad, and I would consider it. For the keyboard I just got an inexpensive Bluetooth keyboard, case and keyboard from amazon along with a screen protector, all for about fifty dollars with free shipping, and I’m set. although I might try to get a Bluetooth keyboard that has backlighting and can be recharged using usb. I think Logitech makes one such keyboard.
Can you lift the iPad with the keyboard like a laptop? I want lifting capability without it flopping.
Sadly, my gen basic ipad is not compatible with any smart keyboard b/c it does not have those contact points.
