- MUST SEE!! Today @WorkingHorsesWithJim, a UPS truck got stuck in our neighbors snow bank, so I took our Percheron draft horses down and pulled it out.

I am Subscribed to the channel. Ye make great videos.
Yes, horses are full of heart!
Its a beautiful thing to see working horses doing what they do very well.. Such a beautiful team, and well behaved too.. Well done Jim, you have some gorgeous horses ;-)
stop adding music to the start of your video. Its annoying and it was so loud I almost blew my ear drums. then when I turned it down i couldn't hear what she was saying.
@@MichaelMantion Always someone with a critical attitude. : (
Those horses were dancing in prancing with anticipation! They clearly love what they do!
🎶Like a good NEIGHbor, Jim's farm is there!🎶
Lol that a good one.
Haha 😂
Lol!!
Completely underrated comment
🤣🤣🤣 Perfect!!!
I don’t know why, but, my chest is heaving with emotion at the willingness of these great animals to help us. You and your horses are wonderful, just wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing this. We live in a time when speed and volume seem to be so important. When speed and volume fail, there remains faithfulness and reliability. You are proof. God be with you, bless you and keep you. Texas
Thanks for watching, so glad you enjoyed. Hope all is well in Texas
You're one of the good 'uns, Papa Jeff. Whenever I see these beautiful creatures I get emotional as well, we owe civilization to the Horse.
Fantastic comment. I could not have said it better. Thank you 😊
Amen!
Well they're tied up with a piece of metal in their mouth. It's not like they have an option to leave.
I love how the horses are sitting there like "LETS GOOOO I WANNA PULL NOWW"
Those horses looked Sooo Happy to help.. Horse power helping "Horse Power"
UPS,,350HP going into ditch ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,2REAL Horse Power to pull him out
@@petewerner1494, Now that's funny AND true.
HORSES SHOULD GET A EXTRA TREAT TONIGHT
Yes!
True that!! UPS oughta be bringing a bag of apples!
Now that's some serious horsepower! I like the way it was difficult to hold them back!
It was like they were saying "Just let us go. We got this!"
Shows we should never underestimate the power of a horse.
When it absolutely has to be delivered today, call Jim and his horses for help. It is simply amazing how strong the horses! The UPS driver will tell this story to his grandchildren;-)
Getting down and getting after it!!
And what a great story it will be forever ! Great comment.
Working horses...horses in general...will always find helpful work, will never be completely replaced by machines. Next to dogs horses have been with humans for thousands of years, we have evolved together and well treated horses, just like well treated dogs, will always have a place of honor in our world. These two horses, Percherons I believe, were calm, early understood what was needed and as soon as given their commands did the job...safely, quickly, and almost effortlessly! Love them even though I've never met them.
That story of being pulled out by horses will last a long time for the UPS driver.
Well done Jim and team.
Hey Scruff, I see you in Demo Dave's comments and now here. Apparently we have the same taste in vids.
@@mattywho8485 great minds think alike right? Lol.
I watch way to much yt but, I don't work anymore so it is the best way to pass time.
Teamsters helping teamsters! Awesome Jim! Way to get er done!!!!!
Thanks 👍
@Baba Ganush lol 😊 so cute
Such beautiful and intelligent creatures. I’m sure they knew just what they were doing and enjoyed every moment. Bless them
Jim is an example of what good people do when someone is in need of help. Thank You, Jim.
Much much better than our Prime Minister up here in Canada!
Thankyou for the video! Soooo heartwarming to see folks helping one another!,
You're a good man, Jim with helping that UPS truck !!
They really love to pull.....
Those are some fine looking horses you guys have there. They were chewing at the bit and was itchin to go! Thanks for sharing that, I always enjoy you guys videos. Have a good weekend.
you too! thanks
Here it goes I just have to say it again that's just real true raw horsepower right there. Plus watching the horses transfer that power through their body and onto the ground. Thanks for taking out the video camera on this one.
I wonder if the horses had their snow shoes on, for extra grip?
Pretty awesome, I bet the UPS execs are talking about it.
@@kfl611 They dont really sink into the snow because they push off at such a steep angle instead of straight down.
@@son2soaringeagle Oh, thanks for the explanation. You learn something new every day. I don't really know much about horses. My nieces and nephew have a horse that is so gentle and kind and is part Clydesdale I think, he's huge and they named him 'tank'.
I really enjoyed this video. Nothing like team of draft horses teaching modern technology how its done. Thank you so much for sharing this Jim.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Makes me cry!! Get a horse!! We have a 29 year old Morgan foundation mare since she was 5 months old . Never give up; never surrender!
My dad had a Percheron it was such a joy to watch those two pull a wagon or he would use her to plow gardens she looked like she was having fun she was so gentle I enjoyed this video people do not realize the magnitude of these animals.
Mom grew up on a farm, and used to walk behind the horses and mules pulling the plow.
This is my all time favorite of Ken and Buck! RIP Buck ♥️🙏🏻♥️ I still watch this in 2023. Thank you Jim and Brenda for sharing this! 🐴 🐴
Horses just keep giving... They don't care the job, they just keep working and trying to satisfy their humans.
true!
NICE!!! can always tell a good working team that is trained to back into the load. They were a little hot to get into the pull but I am impressed they settled as soon as Jim hollered and I love the fact both got into the harness together for the pull, no diving back and forth. Nothing better than a team of Percherons!! Thanks for bringing back A LOT of good memories from the farm!
What magnificent creatures they are--a pleasure to watch.
Thanks for watching
I think I watched this about 10 times. This channel is never boring. They really knew what they needed to do! Great video.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Our eldest son was working for Amazon during the pandemic and got stuck in the snow in early 2021 in Wayne Co Ohio. A few Amish teens saw him and told him not to worry they would be right back. One of their fathers came back with a team of horse and pulled his Dodge Sprinter right out. It was a great experience for him. A testimony to the goodness of the Amish and the power and grace of these magnificent workers.
I love when the horses get excited and ready to pull .... thats some serious power!
The horses were laughing at the truck. They're saying to each other that thing has horsepower? That thing, they call a truck has more than 2 horsepower? Come on partner let's show them what true horsepower is. 😹
No good deed goes unnoticed, always a blessing to be a help to others.
Rest easy Buck ol boy! Your work is now done buddy!! You did it faithfully with full effort 100% of the time and i know Jim is forever thankful!
Camera operator: his spinning his spinning.
UPS Driver: Sweet I can finish my route
Horses: Next stop UPS Hub
Those horses were so cute the way they nodded to their mama. "Hi, mama, we are going to get this truck out."
Jim & the horses were Good Samaritan’s pulling the UPS truck out of the snow filled ditch ! Thank the Lord for work horses & Jim !
That is the best video. The UPS company should make a commercial of this!
U.P.S NEEDS TO BE CUTTING A CHECK TO THIS KIND MAN & HIS FANTASTIC TEAM OF HORSES. JOB WELL DONE.
Literally 2 horsepower got him out! What wonderful animals! Such power!
Well, that should guarantee you free deliveries for life, Jim. 👌
Excellent!!! They've got it all. Y2K Proof, No Plastic Junk, No Slick Advertising Programs, No Planned Obsolescence, Just Honest Dependability!!! They made my day. Best of Luck, Stay Healthy....................
That's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I wish my dad was alive to see this, he loved watching the old westerns so that he could see the horses.
My Mum and I used to watch the westerns together and pick out our favorite horses.
@@katewhitehouse4836 So did l,with my dad here in England.
Thanks for helping Jim! UPS appreciates you and the horses, for sure!
It is a privilege to see these magnificent beasts work in this way. Thanks.
Now that's what you call real horsepower 🐴🐴
Hi pretty lady. How are you doing today? And how is the weather over there?????
Thank You Jim for all you did to help that UPS driver. I'm sure you must have freaked him out a little bit by towing him out with the horses.Good Job everyone. 🐴🐎🐎💖👍
This reminds me of a story that was told to me by a family member. My great grandfather raised oxen back at a time when snowplow trucks were so poor that even they would sometimes get stuck in snow. When that would happen, they would get ahold of my great grandfather and tell him to bring out his oxen to pull them out. It's so amazing to see this kind of thing in the modern day. 👍
Such raw power from some beautiful, amazing animals!
Thank you for letting me watch the good deed, as well as a chance to see these wonderful animals in action!
💪🏾🐴♥️✌🏾
Wow, so awesome to see how the Percherons handled this. I'm an equestrian (dressage rider), and can really appreciate how they were in tandem moving sideways (leg yields) to get aligned before backing up straight to the UPS Truck. Right on! Great working horse/driver relationship by Jim. I came across this video randomly, and look forward to seeing more.
Thanks for watching, hope you will enjoy many more vids on our channel.
This is why I love your channel you’re so down to earth your horses are awesome Give little extra hay tonight. It’s awesome to watch you help somebody in need.
Thank you so much!!
YOU THE MAN JIM..I would never get bored with channel..Give them Perch"s some sugar cubes Jim
The blacks: “stupid truck, let’s show it a thing or two!”
I hate this video
A big thanks to Ken. Buck & Jim for coming to the rescue.
Once again the horses saved the day. What would we do without them.
It’s so special to watch these horses and how authentic their effort is. Their power and determination is amazing to watch. Bless you folks for sharing your story with us and helping someone in need!
Just came across this video today, and absolutely loved watching it. Magnificent animals who can “get the job done”. Being a former up North Canada 🇨🇦 farm girl this warmed my ❤️. Thanks for sharing 🥰.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
Simiply amazing to see what intelligent power can do! I was so impressed with their bahavior and attitude on this job (and many others). Of course, part of it is good training. You should be proud.
Thanks
How awesome is this! Your horses are always there for you, willing to do the work. That is a precious gift they give you.
I love the big guys. Such beautiful horses and so much power. Love to watch them work.
this just popped up from 3 years ago.......I was not following you guys back then........wowo......I could not love those horses more......SALUTE JIM AND TEAM...thank you Brenda for capturing this and getting in that snow.
God created horses strong so they can help their neighbors!! They deserve couple of sugar cubes! Beautiful horses❤️❤️❤️
102 reasons why people need to look out for horses including all animals domestically kept to ensure they are being looked after and fed well because sadly not all are. This clip is just a small example of their gifts to people. Great video.
Nice way to put it...their gifts to people
Those Horses where proud to pull it out. People don't realize the strength of those animals.
Hurray for Jim and the Percheron team!!👌👌🥰🐴
Not only will the UPS driver have a great story to tell, he'll also have a video of it! Nicely done!
Hi pretty lady. How are you doing today??
What beauties. They sure were ready and happy to get to work, even after a days work!
Hello Jim from our family farm in central New Hampshire. I just came across Abby's new channel and she pointed me to yours! I love-love Percherons! I had a half Percheron/ half Thoro. He was bred as a heavy weight hunter for my riding instructor. His mother was 17 hands. At 2 1/2, Razzi looked like a baby Percheron. He was only 15 hands and I was offered to buy him, as he was not looking like he would be tall enough for Judy. Little did I realize that Perchs mature at 7 years old! Once I put grain to him and we started riding everywhere, Razzi shot up to 15.2, a 6" bit and a #2 shoe overnight and the vet said he was far from done! What a big hearted, wonderful, smart horse! Razz was black with a white star and a snip. You brought back such fond memories. I look forward to following both your channel and Abbys ~ Diane
I love LOVE seeing such beautiful animals at work
They want to pull they want to work
I miss my Pops and his beautiful babies
His where chestnut brown 🥰
That’s the definition of HORSE POWER!!
Absolutely...
I hope you know how blessed and lucky you are working with these wonderful animals.
What I LOVE of this video. The generosity of you folks. But then the next best sight was seeing the horses touch noses right before they NAILED that pull!
Nice save of the Brown from the white! Gotta love that horsepower...
I was reading my great grandparents' love letters from 1914 or so, and in one they said "well the chevy got stuck in the snow so we had to get the team of horses to pull it out". Its nice to get a visual of what that probably looked like
This warms my heart. I don’t live in this area but I live in area with people like this. We have to drive a few hours to enjoy the amenities of a city. But nothing beats living around good people
Well done Jim. Great work pulling out that truck
Thank you for sharing. If UPS put Percherons on the front of their trucks they would never get stuck. LOL.
I love how they were just READY to go even when the UPS truck wasn't lol
You all are teamsters to the teamsters! How many people can say they pulled a UPS truck from snow with a pair draft horses ? You both went above and beyond for he who goes above and beyond.
🐴🐴😷👍
The horses were calm and responded willingly when asked for their strength. Nicely handled horses are willing horses.
Thanks for watching
Who needs a tow truck when you are there
Heavy horses! They and those who love and work with them are just as heroic. Thank you!!
The horse built this country, never forget.
Yes they sure did
Super job ,and the black horses did prove themselves today,,,( and looked great for a photo shot). 🤣
Holy shit! That's awesome. I loved the moment when their hooves found traction in the snow and the truck burst forward like it weighed nothing
I love when you can see them get traction and dig in hard. So cool
2 of the nicest people I’ve ever met, Jim and his wife!
This made my week. Horses are so awesome. A tow truck would have slipped just like the UPS truck. Two horses and a great driver, job done. 👏
From a UPS driver, thank you for your gratitude and help! God bless you.
Thanks UPS drivers for all that you do!
I love how the horses were like "Let's do this!"
We just rescued an underweight Percheron. She's such a sweet she's going to look awesome when she's gained weight.
I just watched this and one of the comments shared by Papa Jeff was put so well and thats what I felt in my heart. Draft horses are so beautiful and amazing. Blessings and Peace to All.
yes, they are amazing creatures!
This was a good video. It was nice to watch Buck and Ken working together. i am so sad he is no longer with you guys but he knew he was loved, he was a hard working horse i am sure you both miss him so much. Big hugs to you all for your loss.
Yeah baby! Our draft babies were the strongest horses ever!
God's most beautiful creation is the horse i love to see a horse at full stride
This ups driver humbly thanks you for your kind service.
Glad we could help
the smile on Jim's face after they got the truck out said it all.
Wow that was awesome to see the power of those horses. Beautiful and powerful. Thanks for sharing this moment.
Great job pulling the UPS truck out Jim
Thanks for watching
Love to see a pair of horse squat and pull together. Takes me back to my youth skidding logs off the hill tops in the winter.
Nothing better than the real thing. Real Horse Power.
That’s bad ass. I’m a ups driver and once those trucks get stuck they’re stuck. Cool to see the horses pull em out
Wow. Very impressive. My wife has been after me to switch from machines to horses for doing work on our land. This video makes my mind start thinking in that direction. :)
There are not many people like you Jim & Wifey. Take care!
Yes that was amazing, just like the driver said! Horse 🐴 power!
Glad you liked it!!
