This was a random find in my “we think you may like” section. I’m not entirely sure why but here I am. Watching something I don’t know that I would have clicked on otherwise. You learn something new every day. Why not learn about things you didn’t know you cared to learn about?
Does anyone know where the bridge featured at 7:30 is? I live in Cape Breton and have travelled a fair bit of (but by no means all of) it and it doesn't look familiar at all.
At the time of this filming, I doubt First Nation's were not given much thought. Hopefully we are more enlightened these days. My parents always taught us to be thankful for our "Home on Native Land". And to show respect for the First people who were here.
I love this video, the place I always call home, Cape Breton
Thank you for sharing this. ♥️

Watching from Cape Breton Inverness
I spent many a Sunday racing horses in Inverness. Good times.
Excellent 👍👍
The famous giant would be Angus McAskill.
Wow
First Nations people were the first people here. I’m the proud Scotchman. Just wanted to say that.
Wow ! Sydney looks so beautiful back then . Now it's a s***hole.

Could it be the Iona bridge? It looks much different now and the hills in the back are much more grown in! But it could be. Im from Inverness!
It’s Margaree Harbour on the Cabot Trail.
@@eyeballhair there was no iona bridge until modern times. i think it was still ferry service til the 90's lol
The indigenous people were the first to live here....don't forget that.
Right. Never forget the Vikings!
No they're best none as salvages
He 'forgot' to mention the Indigenous Peoples who were here First.

@@cohoking1532 Sounds like yourself you're describing there. Not much to do today so you're trolling are you?
