Actually Onixia + Evolve sounds pretty terrible. 6 tries at getting a Doomsayer - then you payed 10 mana and 2 cards to get rekt.

Okay just calculated it. 1/88 chance of drawing a doomsayer. Independent events, so for 6 times that is a 6/88 = 7% chance of getting REKT. If you're feeling lucky, you might wanna take it.
MdK Nice one, been looking for a number of 2 drops in standard mode but couldn't find it, I'd take my chances on that honestly, even if you get a doomsayer you might still be able to recover since you really only used 2 cards and also wiped your opponent's board

I think Blizzard realized that Shaman was the worst class, so they just decided to overkill buff it.

I've gotten my own board wiped a couple times by Evolve into Doomsayer or Acidmaw, but on average, it's a pretty fucking strong card.

Shaman seems to be the strongest class atm in this forming meta with Darwin Shaman and Aggro Shaman. So no idea what you're talking about.

As an avid shaman player this was a big plus for me. I actually found a player after reaching rank 19 who was a shaman and had the same card back (greenhouse or whatever from 2 years ago). We were identical which probably provoked some laughs on both our ends. I was using my standard creep buff deck feat: some Old god stuff but mostly stuff from Grand Tourneyment. It was a major mistake. Halfway into the game, he baited me to use most of my minions, and since I'm a shaman I can always produce more, before clearing the field with Overload wipes. This happened roughly 4 times I believe (2-3) and (4-5 damages). Not only that, when I had him on the ropes he pulled out a healing wave card that gave him back 7 health (twice), with both times failing to get the full 14 effect. By the end of the game he put out Cthun ( I hexed) and then some emperors and there was nothing I could do.
I scoured the internet and realized how many cards I needed to make a good meta shaman deck. Got healing wave, evolve, master of evolution, and someone else. It felt good to finally use my arcane dust for something. There's plenty of cards left to get however. This enemy (Sparklewoof I think) Also produced a Hammer with deathratle (Hero power deals 2 damage), then replaced it with another hammar to produce a 4/2 beast, triggering the deathrattle. I played until the end to learn a bit more about the new shaman. I'll need some more time before heading out into ranked again.

Uberkilltoecheese It's really not. The situational ability of being able to chose what you want your lore to do, means that if it any way is too cost efficient it will be a constant must in any druid. Now it still has some situational value in slower Druid decks. And I guarantee you, that any non-c'thun midrange or control druid will at least have one lore.

I play shaman as a "horde" deck, I just put out as many units as I can (usually low value) and then buff them for roughly an OTK

I've been playing Brann Bronzebeard C'thun warrior, that shit is legitimately op. Deals with aggro pally well, brann into ancient shieldbearer gain 20 armor 10 mana. Shit ton of card draw, big minions. I never play constructed and now im like rank 3 from rank 20. Im loving it

Hey Kripp, i wanted to make an evo shaman too but i made it just a bit dumber. It almost never works but whatever. I did it with Rafaam and Thaurrisan. When i have both evo's, i play Thaurrisan, turn 9 Rafaam, turn 10 mirror of doom and then 2 evo's. A board full of 5 drops for 10 mana. When i pull it off it's amazing but it rarely works. FeelsBadMan
remove 1 lightning storm and replace it with brann bronzebeard. the scarabs are also a way to extra board clears/removal. it's how i build my shaman deck before the expansion
it's how a lot of people built midrange shaman pre wotog...
2/1 charger dude with divine shield is insane with evolve, is an auto include in every evolve shaman
I made a deck similar to this when WotOG came out. I named it as such: Darwinning. Title is not misleading.

Hey Kripp, I saw Kacem using evolve as well and he has had a lot of success with having a lot of 7 cost minions in his deck. And his justification was because the best value jump was when you evolved something from 7 mana to be 8 mana (a lot more good 8 mana cost cards than any other).
Is there other solid jumps and if so does it justify building your shaman deck around it?

Hate to be that guy, but technically, as Dorkly pointed out in one of their Pokemon videos, evolution is a process that happens over a lengthy time, so what "Evolve" and "Master of Evolution" actually does is closer to mutation or metamorphosis. :P
Careful evolve if you have 1mana cost on your board, I once get self-board-wipe, spawn 1acid maw and 1pyromancer.

I got golden evolve the other day and its single-handedly the most fun card i own.
Just waiting for the evolves that become flamewreathed faceless. Feel like turning a bunch of 3 manas (mana tide, tuskarr totemic, etc) into 7/7's might be a tad OP

I've been using shaman since beta, and now it has some good cards I'm unreasonably happy. And now you can even make Mistcaller work! (Play the 4/4, then evolve it and get a 7 drop AND +1/+1 to your hand n shit.)

It's so funny to look at the deck and immideately realise what is the person behind it.
Like, Kripp's deck has two nerubian prophets, and that card is pretty terrible, but only one thing from below, which is, honestly, the best card from the entire set. And you can momentarily tell that the guy who created this goes for the glory, rather than effectiveness, and just tries to have fun.

I played about 15 games with an evolution shaman deck I crafted.
3 games I got the 2 hunter legendaries (the worms that board wipe).
1 time I got a doomsayer.
1 time I got Dark Nat Pagle, he drew for my opponent, which made him then top-deck a flamestrike.
Fuck this game...Oh but at least from the 25 packs I opened today, I got SEVEN Dusk Boar. Super stoked about that AWESOME card, why can I only put 2 of them in my deck, I want all 7.

I removed Onyxia because it's always a dead card anyways. I replaced it with an earth shock because priests and mages keeps spamming that 1/3 annoying drop. Considering some board clear tho

onyxia isn't so good in evolve shaman, bacause it is really high chance to transform one (or more) whasp into doomsayer
Maybe Alexstraza would be better.
But Onyxia makes more sense compared to say, Malygos or Ysera.
It could allow for a burst turn maybe and since alot of 10 mana cards are consistantly good.
