not necessarily. the priest had the ability to steal any of his minions thanks to the acolyte changing their attack to 2, meaning even without the ultrasaur he could've still taken either deathwing and hit him for 24 damage. and if the priest had any way to deal 2 more damage, ie a spell or a usable minion, toast would still be dead
well i never said you were wrong. but taking a second look at the context of the situation: he has a taunt, 2 12/12s and a 7/14; plenty of damage for lethal. he also has coin unstable left as an option before passing, so if he were to use it on the ultrasaur i believe he'd get a guaranteed 8/8 which would yes deny priest a simple combo+removal victory, because his best target to steal only gives him 24 damage. so i'd say there is probably never a world where you keep the ultrasaur rather than coin unstabling it. so yeah, you're better off with your play, i agree

AOE stands for "Area of Effect" So while it could technically anything that effects more than one character people usually say it to refer to area damage.
