  • A 125cc two stroke is a great stepping stone for your ever growing 85cc'd child that could be ready to step up to a big bike! For this Racer X Films video we decided to not only talk about the 2022 Husqvarna TC 125, but we also brought Leum Oehlhof along to give you mini parents an example on how to go about getting your child on a bike safely and effectively. The TC 125 is a great platform for kids and adults, and we will break down why this Husqvarna is a viable option for the young and old alike.

Agree not ready for more power, he’s not aggressive enough in corners for a 125 yet, his line choice is also subjective, variation in the corners, spewing, wide long, outside to inside and vice versa saw none of that, laying it over also saw nine of that, so IMO def not ready for more power until he can stay on the pipe at speed through corners and better line selection to stay in the mid to top end at speed in the corners, lots to grow into yet. Corners on any bike tell you allot about any rider, where their confidence level is, skill level, technical level, it’s a perfect litmus test, scrubbing jumping tells you little, anyone today with power can throttle jockey their way over jumps and around a track. He did a good job, not ready for more power. Great bike, keep em coming.

Cant tell if you're being serious. Pretty critical for someone who 1.) isn't a riding coach 2.) Would be beat by the featured rider.

@@perryarnold116 That’s your opinion, this is mine, it’s not meant as criticism, it’s observation and a fact Chris himself brought up but I saw long before I got to the end of the video, the point was also made to support Chris hypothesis about kids but not only younger people wanting more power before developing or growing into a bike which we know and I see regularly as a common issue and dangerous one at the track for others as well as themselves.
I might not be a coach but have taught plenty of people and have followed many coaching advice and technical from many great coaches, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist or a qualification to observe experience what ever level can provide value, I have been riding racing even longer than Chris, it’s my opinion FWIW and it’s pretty bang on, kid might out jump me in style, but I’d destroy him in corners and I’m 3 times his age, also online is about opinion, it’s bit about sucky suck ups agreeing with everything.

@@maverick2242 so by your theory you think you need to be riding the smaller bike to its full potential before moving up? If that was the case most older men with 450s would still be on 85s.

So your saying at the age of 15 you had it all figured out, I don’t think so buddy

@@perryarnold116 No if you read my point is I’m saying he’s not ready fo more power on that bike, I never mentioned moving up or down, was even backing up Chris Ks point about wanting more before you can even be proficient on the stock bike, corners lead to everything and esp on a 125, anyone with any real experience esp on 2t and 125s and I have been riding them since 1980 pretty sure I am able to back this, understands that quite clearly, as usual p,entry of kids responding taking it as criticism rather than beneficial information, the biggest issue today if someone views is not the narrative you guys start throwing your toys out of your cots, read properly, not read into your own narrative, it’s like answering someone before you heard what they have said in conversation before they have finished, I’d say grow up, if this is how you ride, like you read or react, maybe you need to go and do some training camps with MXfactory or AJ Cantazaro. Sheesh, the world today.
