I thought you were going to talk a little more about the space whales. That's the connection to Ashoka. It appears only one person has seen Rebels so.. Great reaction!
I think the reason they showed us the scene at the beginning which was the youngling Mandalorian ritual of them becoming a full watch Mandalorian was to show us that even after all these eons of Mandalorians and even with the changing of the worlds the mandalorians who are apart of the death watch sect that broke away that djin jaron is apart of is that they are still close together they are collectively a family and yes they will fight if and when they need to but they are also still closely connected to their rituals and their orders and how their flow of things goes it’s all still connected . I think the Scene with Bo Kitan alone in her sects Mandalorian castle was to show that yes they were and are the peaceful sect of the mandalorians but look where it’s gotten them the only reason they stayed with Bo was because they thought she would get the black saber sword and reclaim mandalore but as soon as they knew she didn’t get it they left her Which shows that yes the death watch mandalorian sect that broke off may be prone to fight and may be very strict but look where it’s gotten them even though they have no true home they still have each other their still together fighting living and raising the next generation of mandalorians and them having the dark saber blade or not having it won’t change the fact that they stand together unlike Bo Kitans sect and that’s what it was all showing that even though djin jarons sect of the mandalorians are upset that he broke a sacred vow of removing his helmet they also know deep down that he also still believes and agrees with their rules customs and rituals and that’s why even though they know it will be hard to be accepted back into his family they are loving enough to even allow him that chance which shows that yes they are the death watch sect but they also have heart for their brethren’s that’s also why he was teaching grogu some of the Mandalorian customs because djin Jaron is raising his own little youngling his son Grogu Jaron
5:49 Jaby…just watch the animated series. We beg you at this point The Mandalorian relies heavily on Clone Wars and Rebels references, and this season will have plenty more. Heck, references are about the only thing that actually happened in this episode
Thats way too many hours of content to absorb for maybe a few points of clarity in a show that lasts 5 hours per season. Is there an abbreviated guide of what episodes to watch somewhere
@@scottcamuto8410 yeah you can watch guide to help but iMO opinion try to watch the shows CW and rebels , they are very very good . Because Ahsoka is also going to be confusing without the CW and Rebels
@@scottcamuto8410 but it’s good content. If CWs and Rebels were terrible shows I could understand not wanting to watch them, but they’re great. And at this point we have no idea what from the animated series they may throw in the live action, so only telling you to watch certain episodes might not be much help
It’s been just over 2 years since the last season and it was worth the wait because DIN IS BACK BABY!!! I love that we are learning more about Mandalorian society. How even though they have been around since before the Jedi they are also incredibly fragmented, and also kind of fickle. They should’ve followed Bo-Katan! She is not only of royal blood but also the best person to lead her people. But unfortunately too many Mandalorians follow different and almost outdated ways. The Children Of The Watch are far too conservative and traditional to look past removing their helmets, no matter the circumstances, while the “regular” Mandalorians are so attached to the myth of a single legendary weapon that even though they know Bo is a worthy leader they still only follow the wielder of the Darksaber. On a brighter note, Grogu hugging the little droid smith was SOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUTE!!!
The reasons for the intro are: 1) If last you saw was Mando 2 then you'd think the only ones following the Creed was the Armorer. 2) If last you saw was Boba Fett then you'd think there were only 2 Creed followers, including the Armorer. 3) We see the Creed followers have risen in numbers to help justify Mando having a group to return to, as well as give him his main quest for this season. 4) They might have snuck in that members of Bo Katan might have started to follow the Creed since Bo failed in her quest to get the Dark Saber and Mando has it and he's following the Creed.
I thought the way they introduced the pergle was brilliant. Especially for setting up for "Ahsoka" for those who didn't watch "Rebels". I think Din is going to unite Bo Katan and The Armorer to unite the Mandolorians.
I can understand Bo Katan after what happened at Mandalor as we saw in Star Wars The Clone Wars show. The Wales in the space was very important im Star Wars Rebels. I wonder if that was an easter egg for the Ahsoka show
i so appreciate courtney knowing small details of the show and other shows CW rebels , this show is going to heavily rely on CW Mandalorians history to build its own story because why not.
Not sure why ppl bag on BOBF so much. It started off really well. Episode 2 of BOBF was pretty great - train heist, tribal initiation ritual, Krrsantan introduction, etc.
Overall it was alright, but it did a huge disservice to the character of Boba Fett. He came across as a weak pushover instead of the bad ass that he's supposed to be.
