Thanks! I think this video turned out to be one of my best retro Pocket Operator cover tunes. The PO-128 is definitely my personal favorite. They are harder to find these days, awesome that you were able to score one. Have fun!
Thanks, Wigges! That little thing is a battery powered audio spectral visualizer. Has 3.5mm in and outs, along with a built in mic. It's not perfectly accurate, but it can help plan out the spectral fingerprint of various instruments so you don't have too much overlap with some frequencies. My plan is to feature in a video about DAWless recording. Soon! I've been working on this Castlevania video on and off for the last three months, so now that I finally finished it I'm looking forward to getting back to some of my multitrack recording videos.
@@GazRendar ah cool i'm looking forward for the next videos. 3 months. That's heavy! I think the NTS2 can do that same visualizing thing too. I'm still not sure if i should buy it or not lol
The NTS 2 can do a very similar visualization. Plus it can do more as an oscilloscope. But it's usually $229, and it never goes on sale. This cheap visualizer thing was like $60 on sale, I think. However, it doesn't have an oscilloscope, so it's not useful for synth-based sound design. I still kinda want an NTS-2....
Seems like everyone wants to know more about that thing. It's a visual audio analyzer. It can run off USB or battery power. It's relatively inexpensive, but it works ok for the price. I want to feature it in a video about DAWless recording soon.
I don't think it has a name or a brand. It's just like some cheaply produced thing. But it can be useful. Unfortunately it does not do a wave view like an oscilloscope does.
I found this like a week ago and have been listening to it pretty much nonstop. Spectacular work! Getting a Megaman in the mail today 😆

@@GazRendar That's true. Yeah the NTS 2 seems to be pretty cool. Especielly with the book.
masterpiece and where ya get the oscilloscope?
Thank you! And I got it off Amazon a little while ago. Hope to make a video featuring it for DAWless recording soon.

@@GazRendar cool, what's it called anyway? can it do wav view?
