    The PO-33 KO is probably one of my favorite new pieces of gear in a long time. I made an entire album on it in about a week. It's just so easy to use and the workflow really inspires so much creativity.

      @@VICKERY- relative to other equipment, no. I think people get annoyed when they see how much brick and mortar stores are marking the popular ones of them up, and when they get an impression that these are some kind of groovebox. They're practically toys, and that's fine.
      With that in mind, relative to something like an app, e.g. nanoloop, they're quite expensive and honestly a bit of a pain to use with serious intent. Though i'd be happy to have one on a plane or something, sure.

    • @superchroma
      @superchroma 4 роки тому +1

      @@VICKERY- also, I wonder if these aren't just largely identical hardware devices flashed with different firmware. If you did want to use these and only these to produce, it would be great if you could pay some amount to license firmware and then reflash them to be the ones you need. If you're interest in three or four, the price quickly adds up.

      These are insanely cheap for what they do. You would have to buy several other pieces of gear to do what this does all-in-one. If you’re looking for inexpensive, check out some free DAW’s.

      Nothing worth your time that's actually good in the long run is cheap, always make investments.

    A walk around a city at random with one of those pocket operators just sampling the noises would make some funky beats

    Let's just take a moment to appreciate how small those devices are. You needed SO MUCH MORE back in like 2000 to be able to do all that. Imagine how further can this technology advance in the future.
    I dunno, it's fascinating.

    Andrew, this sounds strange, but you should try to make music with Roblox sounds, not just the oof sound

    For future reference, when something "lights" up on an LCD display you could accurately say that it is "polarizing." I'm sorry to be that guy, but barely useful facts build up in my head like gas in my intestines.

    Woah dude you really nade the stutter on those. My friend just bought two of those recently and we started to jam on it when we see each other, not so simple to do as you do. But those little things are really dope. Limited but dope.
