- The PSoR ZTeam performs with John Wetton of Asia and King Crimson at the East Brunswick School of Rock Open House, Feb 24, 2013. Featuring John Wetton on vocals, Allie Cohen, Sofi Spatola and Karaline Rosen on backing vocals, Anjali Nair and Pete Tonti on guitar, Mike Kowalski on bass, Katie Henkel on keys and Raghav Mehrotra on drums.
John still had his signature voice even at that stage in his life, and I'm sure those kids never forgot this moment. There'll never be another John Wetton!
They don't realize the greatness that stands before them
I'm thinking that they probably do.
I'm sure they know👍🏼
I don't think they do.
Youth is wasted on the young and life is wasted on the living... but I do think those kids did a great job 😁
That generation lacks emotional expressions.... but somehow, they must have known they were making modern history then...
John still could carry a tune even at this time. Even with advancing years John’s voice was still strong. Miss you John.
Just felt like stopping by to watch this again in light of John's passing yesterday. Godspeed, John - you were an amazing person and musician. RIP!
My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with John, an absolute gentlemen through and through. My wife is his biggest fan and she was walking on air for days afterwards because of his being such a nice guy in person. RIP Mr. Wetton.
Rock on in that next beautiful place John!……
John was a wonderful talent , hope those awkward kids cherish this memory . Nice guitar work from guy front left too
since 1983 when I was 10 years old, I have been listening to your songs with ASIA.
thank you very much and RIP Mr Wetton, our prayers are with you...
How awesome! Wetton was such a great singer! (And bass player!) I can seem him looking with approval as the guitar player solos! …Just a really nice time-capsule moment!
John Wetton, old and super humble!
Amazing rock singer and wonderful human being.
One of my childhood heroes, forget about all the athletes. A true Master like John Wetton will be remembered forever! RIP Sir, you are being remembered fondly and often by many souls! The Best seem to be taken early and that makes me sad.
I love how they included the cowbell and tambourine!
やっぱりイアンマクドナルドの親友は、ジョン貴方しかいない❗いつか彼らのセッションが伝説となるでしょう❗
John Wetton ! .......no more to say ! RIP ! Talent Complete !
Passing by while re-re-re-discovering Asia...this video put a smile on my face.

Awwww this is sooo cool!! Rip John!!!
Family, King Crimson, UK, Asia, even a great moment appearing with Steve Hackett. Musical legacy alone is amazing. To give his time to these kids? Awesome.
Uriah Heep
@@cassam Cool, didn't know that. I saw them in Philly circa 1978. So I had to look up John's history, and learned that he was also in Wishbone Ash and Roxy Music. Quite a resumé.

Maestro descanse en paz.
John voice is strong and passionate as ever !
Glorious video and performance! Major teen vibes between Tie Dye and Cowbell!
I attended a couple soundchecks and three shows with this band thanks to Paul Green. Some of the material was played live for the first time in many years. I am sure these then budding musicians have very fond memories of John Wetton as do I. Thanks for posting this School of Rock Princeton!
I miss you John! RIP my hero ...
Too bad for the kid playing the drums and that nobody can see him. Wonderful of John to work with these kids!

The little guy on the drums is pretty good.

He may have been the best of the lot.... not including the legendary John Wetton of course.
Impressive.

Excelente
PLEASE...YEAH...¡¡¡ 😎😎😎
John you left a vaccum in the rock and roll today...RIP
Is it me but in this video doesn't John look a bit like present day Lou a Gramm ? Now before you call me a hater and how dare you!!!! Both John and Lou were my favorite lead vocalists from Foreigner and Asia my 2 favorite bands! John will be missed😒
Miss you John
Start out small and go big! A great production however! Pretty cool! 😊
RISE N SHINE SAMMY
Wish the Mics we're louder. The girls sounded kinda drowned out
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I got a fever....and the only cure....is MORE COWBELL! LOL
*Hey, it's Bruce Dickinson! LOL*
Even with John there that completely sounds like shit... and yet that is what's so cool about it, just raw, and uncut, and down to basics. Awesome job! RIP John.
Holy smokes
Wow when was this recorded?
By the way the drummer did a great job.
It might be very hard to keep the right tempo especially in a song with vocals at the forefront like this and especially while playing with a legend like Wetton;
also he didn' t miss a note and his tone was balanced.
Well done!!
its cool he's playing with them but they should have done some Crimson like one more red nightmare
At least this drummer kept better time than Carl Palmer.
Six people don't like the 80s
The drummer's got it, almost, and really tries. And base is solid. The others are too... not good enough?
Oops, he's lost a bit of that whaling voice. high notes impossible.
Umm I don't think he really warmed up for this, or anything.
(He generally did before his concerts.)
He performed this song live in a lower key around this time
I got a fever....and the only cure....is MORE COWBELL! LOL
