Big Turbo 2JZ Datsun 240Z Goes 200+ mph At Bonneville Speed Week 2023

Here is our Bonneville Speed Week 2023 event coverage. Jay and the White Goose Bar Team traveled over there with three 2JZ Powered vehicles. Last year's Speed week 2022 was rained out and nobody had the chance to participate. This year also had rain but the organizers maintained a positive outlook and navigated around the obstacles and made it happen this year.

I can relate to Alex on the pit atmosphere. Drag racers have the biggest ego and some can be rather rude. I have yet to experience any of that at half mile, autox and road race events.

How do you keep the 2j cool enough on a car where you're trying to minimize open frontal area? Is it all the ethanol or is there some trick ducting and massive heat exchangers?

Land speed racing is a dream of mine (I’m sure like most) but the cockpit of these things are tailor made. I don’t think I could be crammed in one like that I’d be too claustrophobic.
