  • This Stand is a very solid unit. Built to withstand the weight of a 80 inch TV, so using it to hold a 65 is going to be no problem for a Stand like this one. To work in my installation I just had to drill a hole in each bracket.
    Weight is around 30 LBS.
    Easy assembly.

    The 86 inch LG TV works good with this Stand on the lower level hole setup. It sits 5 inches up off the cabinet. Perfect for me. Handles the 100 pound weight. Slight adjustments left/right and to a little forward tilt, but the stand is stable. I am happy!! The legs on the LG were way to far apart (701/2 inches) for my 5 ft. low level TV furniture console. This is a perfect solution.

      Thanks Harry! I am waiting for my LG 86 to arrive and I just got this stand! Thank you for letting me know it fits. I will also be putting mine on the lower level hole set up. What size M8 screws did you use? Any other tips? THANK YOU

    I took the 4 screws out of the back and replaced them with the slightly longer screws that came with the stand (they supplied me with many different sizes to choose from). Also, use a level to make sure you got the TV level and not not tilted. This is a 2 person job the TV is BIG and weight 99 lbs. I am very pleased with the stand. Also, it may look like the TV is slightly leaning forward but it not much.

    SouthJersey1000.. Those 3 screws at the base of my stand are solid and hold the bar with no movement for me. I just double check it. Double check the instructions for the correct screws and that the Latstic bottom cover # 6 is positioned the correct way. The #1 instructions says "part 6 slips into the interface of part 2." I think there might be a little bump (the interface mentioned in the instructions) that slips into the bottom of the bar #2.

    Good Video, do you think it will hold the 86 inch LG. Same issue with a 70 1/2 span between the legs. I also want it about 2 inches off the base like you not 4 inches... . Where did you drill holes to do this?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  5 років тому +1

      The 86" may fit, I believe the stand will support up to 100lbs. (check the link below for that spec) On the center post there are 4 holes drilled from the factory, 2 up near the top of said post and 2 located about 4"down, I used the bottom 2 holes and then measured down from the 2 bottom holes and drilled 2 more. I mounted the bracket to the 4 bottom holes (2 top holes are not used.) That worked for me.
      Thanks for watching

    QUESTION: I have ordered the 70" LG TV model 70UN7070PUA. I agree it is good to purchase a stand larger than the limits of the maximum suggested use. And I also like setting the TV to a low setting so it is closer to the entertainment stand. But, I am not going to drill holes in my TV. Does this TV stand have the ability allow the 70" LG TV model 70UN7070PUA to sit close to the entertainment center? Or would there be a need to drill holes?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  3 роки тому

      You "may" only need to drill holes in the center support post to lower the bracket that mounts to your TV. You do not drill any holes in the TV.

    Really enjoyed your video could you have stuck the bottom part(black) of the stand under Neath your other stand. The reason I ask is that's what I'm thinking. It is a sturdy shelf I said that's not going to hold a 40 inch t.v. and I have the 32-50inch t.v. that's a thought to remember drill holes.

They are inexpensive and last a long time. I have the same stand but for sizes 32 to 65 inches. I feel good about the construction but I'm so nervous about mounting the tv and not sure if I did it right. My vizio is 32 inches and I would feel better about the mounting if I knew exactly where that security piece goes and what it's supposed to do. And I didn't have all of those holes in the back of the tv for mounting the bracket. I hate not being sure

    Greetings from England buddy... I am about to order this exact stand, I have a Panasonic 55” TV, it has VESA 400 x 400 on the back, when this stand is at its highest setting , I need to have at least 7.5 to 8 inches distance between the bottom of my TV to the bottom of this stand, can I achieve this because I neee to fit a home cinema speaker underneath it and no stand I find gives exact measurements, I’ve had to send 2 stands back to Amazon UK 🇬🇧 already 😥 what do you think?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  4 роки тому

      I currently have my 65" on this stand with the bracket on the rear at maximum height, it is 12 1/2 inches from floor to bottom of TV. My stand is on the floor and I wanted to have my TV at eye level whilst sitting on the couch. Very temporary but I do not have a entertainment center at my new house yet. :) I would imagine that a 55" could be made to work on this stand, you will more that likely need to drill holes to get your desired height.

    • @breakerbroke23

      there are 4 holes pre drilled, 2 at the top of the center post and 2 down about 4inches. These 4 holes attach the mount. So I used the bottom 2 holes for the mount and the drilled 2 holes for the bottom 2 bolts on the lower part of the mound. So all in all that lowered the tv by about 4inches to get the look I wanted.
