My Vandal X is an absolute tac driver and nothing has walked away after the 80gr round makes impact. just picked up the Vandal long in 300PRC which i can only imagine is going to shoot just as well at any distance im slinging lead at. keep up the awesome work!
Just ordered one of Jim's recoil pads for the 22cm you guys are building me right now goin in a Hnt26. I wont be able able to feel this thing shoot, ha. Looking forward to getting that thing soon!!
Not to be a negative Nelly. My only knock is short barrel length. There's NO WAY you're getting 3285 fps from 18" barrels!!! More like 2950 fps or so. Those short 18" barrels really KILL the performance hopes of the 22 Creedmoor. It should be 22" as a minimum for barrel length with 24" or 26" being preferred.
With regard to the infatuation with sporter stocks. I agree that they are NOT as good when shooting from a rest, but I think weight is the issue for a lot of hunters. Backcountry hunters who are putting in several miles of hiking a day at high elevations with steep climbs probably do not want the added weight of some of the more accurate stocks which for the most part run heavier than the sporter stocks.
Sporting stocks were meant to be used with iron sights, but no one uses iron sights in a high powered rifle anymore. The fact that manufacturers still use that stock style with the expectation that a scope will go on top is ludicrous.
It’s funny that the owner of the company is on the podcast complaining that he can’t get any traction or followers for the company, but they don’t answer customer questions on UA-cam, respond to Facebook messages, ship ammo on time, and have business hours Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm with an hour lunch break where there is no one available. Hard to root for a company with this level of customer support no matter how good their product is

I just picked up my horizon 22 creed last week and the 7th 8th 9th shots were 1/4 inch group. It's everything they advertise.
Love to hear it! Make sure you send in pics or tag us if yo post any -- we'd love to see them!
Love my 22 Creed build! What a phenomenal cartridge.

That's awesome to hear! We can't wait to hear what you think.
I have an 8 twist 25-06 that shoots the 131 Blackjack bullet (no longer available) over 3100 fps. Great round.
Great video guys! Really enjoyed this!! And my favorite hunting snack is Nutty Buddy! Looking forward to getting some hogs with the 22 Creedmoor.

Any chance you could build me a stock for a Sako L61R action with a Douglas barrel?
We don't make anything for Sako yet.
I would have already bought a gun from you guys if I could get a longer barrel
I also hate sporter stocks and Mossberg bolt guns
