- A brand new technological ride has been announced via the manufacturer's website.. that being an insane version of a usual log flume ride! The immersive superflume features a motion based platform and a massive screen scene, and to hear one of these are coming to the UK has us wondering where it could go! Alton Towers? Thorpe Park? Blackpool Pleasure Beach? Nope! I think i might know where...

Would only seem to make sense to be added to Flamingoland. The new straight elevated section of the ride that has been built would seem to make this the location.
River caves at Pleasure Beach! - maybe the faulty snake at the end was just too much in the end and they are finally getting rid of the Bin Bag tunnel! 😅

It is Flamingo Land. The lost river ride will have an immersive 4d cinema area inside a cave. This has been confirmed by staff at the park…
For a Birmingham based company , a little closer to home could be Drayton manor. Pirate adventure was a flume based ride that has been dormant for many years, locked out of sight too! Maybe just maybe the park are finally doing something with the space ;)

Maybe it could be FlamingoLand's Lost River Ride rework? I've heard they've doing a lot of construction work on it
The dinosaur theming could maybe be done to tie it into their Dino-Stone area of the park

Yes i do think its Flamingo Land, everything fits, they have been very secretive about what they are doing. The rate the changes are being made the ride could be ready for August or September. It does not have to be dinosaur themed thats just the example they have given on the website.

No one is really mentioning Drayton. They currently have 2 sbno water rides with one of them being indoors. However it doesn’t have a drop which does rule them out. Unless they change it of course

Hope it's Pirate Adventure at Drayton Manor, it's a much missed black hole from the park, a dark ride is needed.

River Caves at Blackpool has been closed and drained.
This is either replacing pirate adventure at drayton manor,alton towers dungeons or lost river ride at flamingoland
I just watched a Video of that Jurassic Island ride in Indonesia that has this technology, and I guess it will seriously destroy the capacity of whatever ride is being retrofitted with it.
From the time the ride vehicle stops on the motion Plattform to the moment it get´s moving again it´s roughly 1:40 to 1:50, assuming the show scene will have a similar length and the boats the same capacity as the Indonesian ride they are going to dispatch 16 People about every 2 Minutes. That would be roughly 30 dispatches per hour resulting in a cpacity of ~480 Riders per hour.
Why cant Britain get a world class coater like velocicoaster or Voltron? The latter is only 5 metres taller than Smiler so with only a little modification (height restriction) it could be at Alton towers and Velocicoaster would be ideal at Thorpe park with the barrel roll over the lakes!
I know I’ve been a bit too hopeful here I hope the ride replaces the camping thing at Chessington or replace Tiger Rock

Didn't the flume at Thorpe Park get taken down, and didnt they say Derin Browns ride is struggling? would it be possible that they will be taking that section of the park, and doing this?
Flamingo land try to improve their park challenge (impossible). They dont need to improve lost river ride, its a lost cause now they shortened the drop, they should improve overall ride availability, park cleanliness and get new rides. Theyll probably increase prices to get in again once they open this aswell further killing the park

I agree with Mikey. I think Alton Towers in the dungeon is more likely. They are the park known for innovation.
Always the first in the world to do things like the first vertical drop coaster, most loops, first free fall coaster etc

What about Storm Force 10 at Drayton Manor? They're investing at the moment, and they already have a themed tunnel that their tech could be put in. (For this to be true the dinosaurs would have to have been a demo reel and not what's going on the ride)
