It reminds me of black people in the media in say the 90's. Like The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, when more black people were portrayed as normal, classy, dignified, respectful and respected people.
Nowadays, all you see in the media is ghetto, embarrassing black people. Her show is refreshing because it exposes the audience to a lot of pleasant, normal, non-dysfunctional black people.
Yall see this, this is two adults who had a disagreement live and still figured out a way to resolve it peacefully and tastefully. both of them articulated and explained themselves well.
It so good to see cute, mature, articulate black people with nothing but good vibes. Most media paints black americans in an ugly light, and don't show people like this much at all. That's one thing I like about this show - you rarely see ghetto morons

What he meant was that he wanted to spend more in-person time to get to know her. You can’t really do that through text and phone calls. That can’t be the basis of a relationship. He wanted to establish a foundation before fully committing to someone that lives far away.

For anyone dealing with depression, don't give up on life, no matter how bad things get, God or no God, we go through 5 stages of grief, at the end is acceptance, whenever you get there immediately start working on being content with wherever you are at, and anything plus that comes is just an added blessing. simple.

JEREMIAH 😅😅😅 thank you friend! He already zoned out her lane. The distance was never the issue for him but he never felt the spark. Did not even try to reach out and see if there was something there but its okay. She made the right call, do not waste your time on anyone not willing to take you serious. They were both respectful and mature which made the conversation amazing.

If you listen closely she was open but didn't get any form of continous interest from him. She even made the move to reach out but it was not reciprocated. So I don't see were your point is in this. He is the man and should take the lead in at least trying to know her. Once again he chose her and not the other way around.

But none of us know what they experienced personally when they were together. ..Or what they felt chemistry-wise. They both agreed that they weren't a match. And truth be told. Their relationship to me seemed to be a continuation of the miscommunication from the show. They had contrasting styles & expectations from one another.

However, yes they did hang out as they said and We didn't know what they agreed to but hey they are adults and made a choice. All I am saying is even from their body language and mood it is quite clear she felt much more interested and hoped he did push in more. Yes they did speak on the phone after their meet up on the show but the conversation was not as consistent as she had hoped it would. This situation guided her reasoning for shutting down his effort to visit her in Florida after not speaking for over 2 weeks. They both had to be responsible in their communication but I would say they should always be a lead at least to push for conversations. That is were I would say He didn't give that and she assumed he was not interested. On his end he was interested but felt meeting in person was better and never reached out. Its quite intriguing that both parties were unresponsive in their styles of communication. Also, I could see 👀 the intent level from both party when they spoke on if they really wanted to give this a shot and it looked more to me like she was hoping to give it a shot more than he did, which is absolutely fine. In all I do applaud them for been matured and graceful to eachother on the show.

I agree with the girl. Long distance is tough. You have to stay in contact with the person and do what you can until you can see them (call , FT, etc.). Jeremiah wasn’t really doing that which shows that he may not have been interested in her even if he may have been.

Exactly. I have delt with someone long distance and he refused to take accountability. He just kept saying well I don't have to call you or text you. Their story captures the present dating scene accurately, where even though people who are sophisticated, like these two are, do a good job of hiding it, the egos today are just on steroids. Most people are perfectly fine being by themselves than putting in a little bit of effort to be in a relationship.

I get her 100%. It seemed like he wanted to have a good story for the "Catch Up" or maybe gain some attention to their relationship after the "Catch Up". He said it was one week after their first appearance but it seemed to be several weeks and only after BM reached out that he wanted to fly to see her or put effort in getting to know her.
He wanted to have an excuse of their relationship not working out and he got it. I think she really liked him or just had higher expectations that's why she's not letting go of his lack communication.
Eveyone speaks about how Arlette makes the show amazing when she's just the hostess. Yes, she does make the atmosphere classy & very pleasing to watch, but I wanna send a BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE BRAINS BEHIND THE OPERATION: B.M!!! YOUR show is amazing, Sir! Kudos to you AND your team, wifey included.

Long distance is hard and if you do it, you have to be intentional.
And you can absolutely get to know someone long distance over the phone. That’s when you get to know them without distraction of the physical.

I’ve never seen an ending of a getting to know someone stage go so well! They both communicated their perspective gracefully and still found moments to uplift each other. You could tell it wasn’t fake. I love how she was able to look through the lens of others and see where viewers were coming from. He’s handsome and still made sure to be respectful. These two are probably gonna end up being the best of friends! I’m wishing great things for both of them! ❤
