@@davidmcgarry8910in which way were they “customised”? Is it that different coloured materials were used in the manufacturing process? If so, ALL Grant gloves shouldn’t be used as they are made to order and based upon a cast of your hand at professional level. Therefore, by definition, that are customised just like the Fly gloves that Fabio used.

Mentioning IQ is a feeble attempt at discrediting anyone who disagrees with you and is a pathetic attempt to deflect, the intended effect being that anyone who disagrees with you must be stupid by default, which is laughable.
Grow a pair and argue the point without having to use ad-hominums that will open yourself up to the same thing, especially when you show how lazy your thought process is.
No, it was Frazer Clarke and his team that expressed concerns about Wardley's gloves before the fight. Shalom simply repeated them. At no point did he say Wardley cheated because the gloves are approved by the board. The question is about whether they should be.

A 'talksport powerhouse'? He's a lisping mincer with too high an opinion of himself and in his own perceived value to boxing. The abuse he dishes out to certain boxers without ever having laced up a glove in his life is comical, he's a caricature at this point.
So we now know that before the fight Frazer's team and trainer said there was an issue with the gloves and complained about them at the rules meeting, and they then asked the board again to check the gloves, and then we see Frazer with one of the worst injuries we have even seen in a boxing ring from a fighter who can bang a bit but isn't known as a massive puncher like Dubois, Zhang or Wilder, and he went 12 full rounds with the same fighter in the first fight, so is there a direct correlation between Frazer's horrific injury and Fabio's gloves?
As far as I know fabio used the same make of gloves in the first fight that went 12 rounds.
@@kingkongsson1 Both pairs were likely custom gloves, made in the colour and design Fabio wanted, that's one of the issues Frazer's team raised about the gloves being "custom gloves", but we just need to know from Frazer's team and trainer what was there issue and concerns about the gloves? Fabio's manager confirmed that Frazer's trainer Angel Fernandez was not happy with Fabio's gloves at the rules meeting but he didn't say why? so it needs to be said what the issue with the gloves was?

Tbf Ben is protecting his fighters and pulls out of purse bids constantly. As well as this, he doesn't seem interested in matching his fighters in big fights. He hasnt done himself any favours. He also is very boring with the media and tells them what questions to ask.
I don't particularly like Ben Shalom, but what he said about the customised boxing gloves was perfectly reasonable. Frank Warren wouldn't stand a chance in court if he sued for libel (as Shalom spoke, rather than wrote his criticism he would have a slightly better chance if he sued for slander, but he'd still lose).

@@HisExcellencyB if that was the case, why didn’t they swop the gloves? There’s a good variety to choose from and normally if there’s any slight doubts, you would just think to pick a different pair? Not wait for the potential “worry” to come to light. What if Frazer was still in the hospital now ? All his team knowing they had a doubt and had the chance to pick a different pair because of that doubt…..

They have the choice of gloves I think the night before the fight with all sorts of people from both sides and officials monitoring….if one party says they ain’t wearing a particular glove , they choose another, and if they want to be stupid , they can just argue all night over what gloves 😂 so the fact they just rolled with it is a bit strange. Unless you're a Floyd Mayweather where you can threaten to cancel the event like he did against Maidana for a similar reason (custom gloves), then there's not much you can do I don't believe.
