I was wondering have you ever seen those book series that use painterly portraits or scenery? A good example of this are a lot of the 80s and early 90s book series, i.e. Babysitter’s Club(which has been refurbished and updated and has that kid comic vibe). And a lot of romance smut books had that paint style too, I wanted to see your take on that and I wonder when they decided it’s a bit boring, because I get a bit bored looking at the cover 😂.

Or the tale of a pro-procrastinator who uses the adrenaline rush of a deadline to fuel herself through things until she can't anymore (may or may not be autobiographical!) Oooh! Now I feel like writing this book (if i ever manage to get through all my current YA projects).
i still love it soo much how much those 'cover recreation' vids you're doing have become more and more educational. the whole first part of the video about how the story transfers to the cover, all that, PLUS the great final design? honestly if ever i decide to self-publish my books, i think i'll go for a divyaG design. feels like the cover will be in great hands there
