OneRepublic "Ordinary Human" is a song from the soundtrack of the 2014 film "The Giver". "Ordinary Human" was written by OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder. In the song, Ryan says that he may look like an ordinary human but that he doesn't feel so ordinary (at least) today. "Ordinary Human" may have been written specifically for the film but it sounds very OneRepublic anyway.

Within the first 3 words of this song, I fell in love. I have to thank the giver for bringing me here. This song is so beautiful and fit perfectly into the movie. The song itself, makes everyone feel some type of way. It makes you think of what life would be like if our world was actually like Jonas' s world. Who would be the receiver and would that receiver be strong and brave enough to do what jonas did?..............you people probably think I'm crazy lol, but what can I say? I'm a nerd.

When I go to the cinema, I always stay until the credits, I like seeing the names of the people involved in good movies. To my great surprise the beautiful and amazing voice of Ryan Tedder sang when The Giver ended.. The Giver was such an emotional movie, it made me cry in joy, and when this played.. I felt so happy! OneRepublic is inspirational, their lyrics are just.. they get into you. I'm so glad to have listened to this, I didnt know about, I've got all OneRepublic albums and didnt find this one song!
