Not happy with the styling update, but happy that someone is trying to make a go of it. I’m an 1190RS owner and really like the bike, more people deserve the opportunity to try one of these bikes.
Yep-I have bought their frame brace kit and a few other things from them. Getting ready to send my bike to Chaz Aagard in WI and have him pull the jugs to send them to NCCR for a closed deck conversion. Too many really expensive parts in an RS motor to chance it.@@jdesmo1
The roads here in the USA are different to Europe and our people buy bikes solely as leisure toys. Straight Roads and leisure products mean that we pretty much only want very high end bikes, which Buells never really were. The later water cooled bikes were pretty good from what I gather when ridden in isolation, but when you put them against their contemporaries (like a V-twin Panigale) they always fell a little bit short. Ironically, it was Europe that put the nail in the coffin for Buell in terms of sales-the ABS requirement was something they couldn’t meet at the time. Hero witholding a $7m payment for engineering services in a hostile takeover attempt didn’t help either.@@jdesmo1
Hey Ken it's me Mike that thing is a freaking rocket ship I wouldn't dare to ride that I'm not experienced enough to do that you must be a really experienced ride at a ride something like that but that is an extremely awesome looking machine Kaplan Cycles God Bless America❤

I love all of your Buells in stock. This model is my favorite paint job out of all your Buells. My favorite Buell you have is your Streetfighter, which you said Jr was gonna be riding at Americade. Never in my life have I ever heard of a Ram Air being used for cooling down brake calipers. That is fucking awesome, and mindblowing. I thought Ram Airs were only used for engines. Those Buells are sick.
What a great video - so interesting and informative and of course with all of the usual Ken Kaplan knowledge & enthusiasm - an enthusiasm so many of us share 😊 . . . Great stuff - enjoy the ride
I haven’t ridden an RX or an SX, but I do have one of the hand built RS’s that were done to show what he could do. Even though they look similar to the production 1190RX they are quite a bit different under the skin-the fairings won’t even swap out. That said, if EBR got even 50% of the riding experience from the RS into the RX, Any experienced rider will have a great time on one. No, they aren’t as fast as a modern liter bike in a straight line, but they aren’t miles behind….. and they feel like TWO modern bikes coming out of a corner hard. The production bikes make the same power as my RS, and they got traction control-and they need it. My bike will flip itself in 3rd just under hard acceleration. Actual slides are easy to manage without the TC though because torque falls off as RPM rises. It’s a really entertaining bike to ride under 120-I wouldn’t want to be on any of my other bikes and some of them are pretty serious modern tackle.
Ken , you mentioned a product before for detailing called newcoat? Just trying to confirm it’s spelling or a link to their product. Have a new 2024 fxlrst arriving in a few days 👍
Ahhhhh. OK. Thanks for the input. Even though they haven't been released yet, the videos I've been watching sure do make it look like a real nice cruiser, or as I would call it actually, a "naked bike". Think Yamaha MT series or Indian FTR... It looks nice.... real nice!!! 👍🏼
If Buell could put out a bike that can compete with the Suzuki Boulevard M109R then I’m in. I don’t really like their new cruiser…it’s too much like a cafe racer. I need a modern cruiser. The Suzuki Boulevard M109R BOSS looks like a Hayabusa and a cruiser combo. I wanna see something like that from Buell.
@@KaplanCycles I checked out those vids you posted of the Super Cruiser. I suppose I’d have to ride it to make a final call, but I was expecting it to be more like a Benda LFC 700. Need those legs extended for long trips.
It was an ego thing-Buell was profitable when Harley wasn’t at the time. The CEO started bad mouthing Erik and his “racing hobby” and then sacked his ass.
Greatly appreciate all you do the promote Buell.

@@nunyabidness9257 The fact that Buell was always highly regarded in Europe and elsewhere compared to the US is just nuts

The Buell was always a sport bike in search of an engine. Glad to see Erik found one.

I thought Erik Buell wasn’t involved with the new Buells
They have the best of the best marketing at Kaplan Cycles!
Erick said they could get 220 out of the motor back in 2014
😍🎨🤤

Kap, can you do video on that R&G Racing Tail Tidy. Picked one up for my Hammerhead and there is no videos on how to install the kit.

Beautiful… Just beautiful. Hey Ken, will you be getting any of the new Super Cruisers in? Or have you already and I just missed it? Thank you.

The SuperCruiser hasn’t been released yet-no idea if dealers are accepting deposits.

Wow no torsional flex
Never seen. that kind of front brake.
Been around forever, perimeter
Too bad Eric isn't part of the new Buell. He could add a lot of positive ideas.

Stay tuned it's coming next year it's called the super Cruiser I have some videos of it up

Sending my $5.00 for down payment
Harley let Eric go so they could build hogs.. now Harley is suffering ....... This Motorcycle could have been a Harley
