She is Founder/Organizer of the Heritage Music Foundation; and was our Minister of Music at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church, Los Angeles; Pastored by her brother, Dr. Earl A. Pleasant, Jr., Organizer/Founder. They both retired 3 years ago, after 42 years of dedicated service to the Lord and our church family.
If you see Holliday in concert you will her WIDE range. She sings entire songs where she barely rises above a whisper. She does songs made famous by her friend and mentor Barbra Streisand in a smooth as glass tone rarely employing her impressive array of rough tones.
