I remember listening to her aptly titled album First Instrument. And it wasn't until the fourth or fifth time that I listen to it (with some good headphones) that I realized, in many cases, what I thought was a horn ...was her voice. What I thought was a keyboard.... was her voice. The woman is a singing God, A Singing Machine, some kind of vocal phenom. But to call her a diva, is a downgrade. Ok. Maybe I'm a little biased. What a powerhouse voice. Watching her singing performance is an experience I wouldn’t want to miss out on, yet this is the first time I’m seeing her perform. I have heard her name and I believe hear a song or two of hers but really never seen any of her performances. What a total treat this performance was. My Goodness! I’ve seen some of the greats perform but JH is my favorite thus far. She sings convincingly and amazingly. Her performance mesmerizes me. I’m now definitely going to watch and enjoy her other performances.

What a powerhouse voice. Watching her singing performance is an experience I wouldn’t want to miss out on, yet this is the first time I’m seeing her perform. I have heard her name and I believe hear a song or two of hers but really never seen any of her performances. What a total treat this performance was. My Goodness! I’ve seen some of the greats perform but JH is my favorite thus far. She sings convincingly and amazingly. Her performance mesmerizes me. I’m now definitely going to watch and enjoy her other performances.
