    Neat as mate. You got nothing to worry about with your skills. Just upgraded to the D035 myself. Great little unit. Looking forward to testing it.

    Hi mate.
    I'm wondering what regulations you have had to follow and also what would be the best thing for me to look at to understand what I need to do.
    I really want to build a small camper and start with an existing trailer. I just don't know where to find out what I can and can't do. I live in vic Australia

      Hi Aaron, get hold of the trailer build standards here www.infrastructure.gov.au/infrastructure-transport-vehicles/vehicles/vehicle-design-regulation/rvs/bulletins/vsb1 . This will tell you about what’s required for rego. As for build I designed my own chassis but yes, you could build on top of an existing trailer chassis. I guess it comes down to what you want in a camper, a light build or something capable of going off-road like I wanted mine to do. There are plenty of UA-cam builds around teardrops if you want to spend the time watching them. Hope this helps, cheers Gary

    What's the wall thickness on the steel tubes? 4mm? 5mm? 6mm?

    • @TravelOutbackOz
      @TravelOutbackOz  2 роки тому

      Hey mate, I used 3mm, which is already heavy enough for a small trailer. It did come in about 200kg heavier overall because of this and other parts of the build. Cheers

    Hi, what is the thickness of the RHS 100x50 tube?

    • @TravelOutbackOz
      @TravelOutbackOz  2 роки тому

      Hi Tuan, I used 3mm which is ample for a build oh this weight. Cheers

    can you record the dimensions of this trailer clearly on the video.
    Can you tell us how the suspension is mounted?

    • @TravelOutbackOz
      @TravelOutbackOz  4 роки тому +1

      ATOM HOUSE I’ll try and remember for when I do the wrap up but they are (cabin) 2.7m long x 1.5m wide by 1.25m tall. Cheers

      @@TravelOutbackOz I am writing from Turkey. I can not speak good English. I am writing via Google Translate. I am wondering how to install the cruise master suspension system in the trailer. how much is the roof area where this system is located. So, if you don't bother, can you take a picture using the meter. atomhouse333@gmail.com .
      thanks

      Been a bit slow over the summer, too hot in the shed! In saying that I’ve just fitted the floor to the chassis. Will do an update soon.
