I like the JRB ascender hitch, ready to move even with weight on it, use ropes of choice, I like resc tech 8 mm and hitches 6mm, $1-2/ft, whatever length for you need, 10ft? And hitch cord 5ft =$20 . You call that climbing rope, I call it lineman Belt. Check out JRB ascender hitch, you’ll love it, use it climbing, lineman’s, rappelling, tether, gear holder, - so easy to tie and adjust
The color is just green but it comes in 6 ft 8ft and 10 ft. I personally like the 8 ft. As far as the color once you are hunting height you will put this back in the bag.
I'm not a rope or knot expert, it does appear to be, but that would be a question for Justin Campbell the owner of Wildline ropes. Thanks for watching, I truly do love the climbing rope.
@@JohnGreyman He said the knot was made of 7/16 amsteel. But that's not a classic prusik knot. While I can't say for sure, it's probably some form of WLR Hitch. You can find a video on that here:. ua-cam.com/video/HQfD1Y6MO8M/v-deo.html
@@stevenl4494 Thank you for replying. I was thinking 7/16 for tinsel strength but wasn't 100%. Your right, it appears to be a modified persik with what looks like a cobra or smc. I'm just wondering how hard it would be to re-tie in the dark. You know the public land rules about removing branches and I prefer to have 2 points of contact at all times while I'm using a saddle. I will check your link out, thanks for adding that too.
@@JohnGreyman You shouldn't need to tie it but once, since the carabiner is what connects your hitch to the lineman's loop. Removal, to go over braches should just be adding another point of contact, followed by quickly removing the hitch/carabiner here, and repositioning. And no, I doubt this is a knot one wants to ever tackle in the dark half way up the tree 🥺. Lucky, we shouldn't have to with that added carabiner. 👍👍
Great product. Seen it last weekend in action and worked perfect.
That hitch is awesome! Got mine in the mail last week and it's amazing!
Thanks for the informative video. I'm sold, buying one after watching this.

Thanks again Dixieland Bowhunter!
Sold. Thanks
That looks pretty sweet. Do they sell other colors, and what length do you recommend?

In English can you tell me what the total hold strength is how many pounds will this rope and hitch hold?
I cannot tell you anymore than the info I read from the owner of Wildline Ropes. You could contact him for more info, his name is Justin Campbell.
Is that a persict knot made from Amstel?

@@DixielandBowhunter Thank you for your reply. Are you making step platforms for tethrd sticks?
