@@GoneKayaking Got to 27. Unfortunately I found things to do on the way to the lake. There is always tomorrow. Your welcome to borrow a yak or two, or a ski.
Cracking weather you had for the trip, we have been wall to wall grey and got more of that coming for the rest of the week if the forecast doesn't change.
It was amazing weather but I'll confess, this was a few weeks ago now. I've been slow editing it. Its been grey fest here too recently and crazy storms on the only free weekends.
@@GoneKayaking It has been shocking how bad the weather has been of late. River levels have risen a lot here in Norfolk, Not as bad as they were last year, but enough to stop our Work Party from doing river clearance this Friday in preparation for our Round Norwich paddle that would have happened by now normally, but with last years sudden level changes, the Club thought better of doing it this year and will be one of our Preseason paddles all being well.
@@GoneKayaking It takes in three rivers and several portages, one being about a mile and a half long. We are based on the River Wensum and then I think we end up on the Tud, before getting onto the Yar, which once going up stream joins the Wensum. From the parts I have paddled it is lovely and going through Norwich and seeing the old Warehouses that we do have left is really interesting. I could paddle from Home to Norwich via the Broads in theory. No idea how long it would take or how far it would be. Would expect to have to camp a few times, and hear Get of My Land a few time too.
Warm NW days down here, mid 20's. I'll be off to dip a paddle very shortly.
Ha.. smarty pants.
I'll make it down there soon

@@gadgetman_nz4092 That would be amazing!
I'll stop procrastinating and make a move.

@@Simon_W74 Sounds like a good trip. I'd imagine there an occasional pub in case of any sudden thirst issues too.
