The way I see it is that the truck was given to me as a trust. When I first got my company truck, it was filthier than filth itself. Instead of thinking to myself “I don’t make enough money, it’s not worth it, it’s not mine, etc. I left it in the shop to get detailed once and stayed on top of it myself after that. The secret to cleanliness is to keep up with it instead of waiting a whole month or whatever. Small touch ups a couple times a day will do it. Same goes for anything in life really. You are renting your body and one day you will have to give it back too. 🙂

Too many products - Using Soap and Water...
Make a mixture of warm, soapy water. For a cheap, easy brake dust cleaner, try mixing soap and warm water. ...
Give the wheels a quick rinsing. ...
Scrub the brake dust off the alloy wheels. ...
Consider using a washing mitt. ...
Rinse each wheel, removing all soap residue. ...
Repeat the scrubbing process as needed.
Aluminium doesn't get clean with any alkaline based substance such as laundry powder. Use acid-based substances such as citrus juice or white vinegar
(basically, any mild acid). Scrub hard with or boil in a vinegar or lemon juice solution. Might need couple of goes.
To polish aluminum, start by washing it with water and a little dish soap. Then rinse it thoroughly to remove any remaining soap. Next, mix together equal parts water and cream of tartar to make a paste. Rub this mixture onto the aluminum with a soft cloth using small circular motions.
Coat with silacone spray rims and tires by rag - void getting on brakes.
Spray locks, hinges - now wash vehicle with soap, wax and pledge the glass.
