- Hey guys! Today's video is a quick timelapse of a quick and dirty polish of the truck trying to shine it up for the year after the winter's salt tarnished everything. I still have yet to do the grill but everything else is probably the way it will stay for the rest of the year.
I was going to create my own music for this video but ran out of time, so enjoy the free music from UA-cam's creator music library! Lol.

I dig this music.
You blew by me as I was getting onto the 401 in Ayr on Wednesday or Thursday. First time I'd seen your truck up close; sounds amazing with the new stacks. 👌
It's so crazy seeing how shiny the aluminum polishes to become.
That is definitely a labor of love It’s a ton of work that most people don’t know what it takes to keep a truck looking awesome like that. Tell us how long it takes to do that
I've done that two or three times in my 43 years of trucking.
The coolest vehicle on a driveway in your neighborhood.
An excellent job.
True all-rounder both on and off road 👌👍
Love from India 🇮🇳 ,(punjab)
I love how you keep that truck looking absolutely amazing. I can really appreciate it, even just the effort of polishing the chrome alone. Stay safe out there !! 🖤🖤
wow, very nice work! and excellent choice on the soundtrack for this video!
Wow... polished up good. Looks great.

You’re gonna get a ticket for all that shine 😃 All the pride you show with your truck, have you given it a name?
Yep she’s got a name!
Shit what a beautiful truck when it’s clean love the chrome
SOOooo, the gritters will be out tomorrow for the first time this year... 🤔
Sharp, also love the content
sehr schön gefällt mir nice truck
I've been seeing you almost every day comming towards the city as I was going through. Looking large you tube guy. Lmao
Haha yeah buddy!!
It’s probably the main reason for owning a big Peterbilt!
All that shine!
Did you chase the train horns back to shine?
I’ve tried before and the chrome wrap is just cheap stuff and there’s no saving it unfortunately 😢

That’s too bad.
Otherwise the truck looks great!
Love that narrow bumper!
Lookin good
Fuel tanks look Primo
Just wondering, would it benefit you if you put a ceramic coating on top of it? Besides the fact that it will clean easily, it might stay shiny longer? You need to redo that after polishing though
I bought ceramic coat specifically to do that! I haven’t actually done it though so I don’t know if it would work yet
😎👍
Fellow driver here. I admire your technique on shifting. Was wondering the way you downshift. Do you tickle your gear downshifting by keeping constant pressure on the throttle and not letting off til she falls into the lower gear? Or you blip the throttle letting go off the fuel then shifting lower? You a smooth operator and was wondering your method? Keep it up driver!
So my fuel pedal is set to “min max” in the ecm so it’s extremely sensitive to light touches on the throttle, so it’s really tough for me to hold a specific rpm. Usually I blip the throttle and hold the shifter up to the next lower gear until I feel the revs should be about right then push it into the gear. Takes a while to do without grinding but it’s something that will come natural once you learn the truck 👍
What happens if you ceramic coat the aluminum?
The only issue is your not going yourngoong to have so many sections yoirngoong to see your stop and go
Hayy I am your first viewer
🥇
How many hours you spended on your truck to get it beautiful like it is.?
This was a quick 9 hour session lol
@@callthemall woow it was a long work on your truck....but you did a great job....;-)
Excuse me my friend, is your emery for speeds? . and another question, excuse me, what discs do you use to polish, and with what product do you polish?
I use renegade clay bars and polishing wheels. There are different bars and wheels for cut, colour, and finish. I’m still learning how to use them all, and my results (up close) aren’t anywhere near the quality of a professional, but it’s better than not polishing at all!
Good jam dude. Who is it?
Is there a reason your horns are down there rather than on the roof?
roof mounted horns on the Peterbilt tend to corrode the aluminum roof skin and eventually leak
@@TheRoadhammer379 thanks
Take it to a professional you have so many small sections it not going to look right
