Please notice the date difference for each developer ( BD is a company born from mit robotics project) . Unitree showed laikago( 1st gen) on ICRA 2019 already . You can build your own or search for youtubers doing so. The algorithm is different but you can make a walking dancing or backfliping robot dog by yourself now.
Can you make swappable paws for it, so it wouldn't make noise and could adapt to enviromnent? In settings you could just click what set of paws you installed and it would change its behaviour
