ok, so I know this is cringy but I wanted to comment anyways- Conan likes this one guy in his class, they are friends. Conan has liked him for a long time now, But Heather Walks by them and wants to be friends, The guy Conan likes, fell in love with her instantly like Love at first sight. They agree to be friends they always hang out now and Conan feels left out cause the guy he likes always spends time with Ashe/Heather. Then he talks with his crush "You like hanging out with Heather Don't you?" he muttered but loud enough for his crush to hear. His crush answers "Well you see, I like her, No I love her." Conan was surprised. "Really?" He asks His crush nods with a smile "..." it was complete silence for a while, Conan was deep in his thoughts. I mean the guy he likes is in love with someone else, Of course, he would have mixed emotions. He then says to his crush "Well then, Good luck!" He says with a smile, But deep inside he was already crying though outside he looked happy, he was not. He then hurried to his house and opened the door. He wanted to cry in his room but he just broke down as soon as he closed the door behind him. He was alone in his house since it was his own (I know it doesn't make sense but oh well.) He then cried, his tears went streaming down his face like a waterfall while muttering to himself "I wish I was heather" again and again. He wanted to feel his crush's love even if it's just a dream or if it's not real, he just to hear his crush say "I Love you!". It was now regular for him to be sad and cry but it lessened every day. When he heard they were a couple now He just smiled and said "congratulations!" but deep inside he wanted it to be just a dream. But every morning he woke up and saw them being lovey-dovey with each other was enough proof that he can't escape the painful truth. Now, this is Heather's story. While he was heartbroken, Ashe/heather was sad too. She has gone through many relationships because of her looks, It was all toxic all of them would brag about her being their girlfriend and did many other toxic things to her, But now she was happy because Conan's crush is not toxic to her they are very happy. But things took a turn. (ok so heather is rich in my story) He regularly asked for money from heather, Heather didn't mind it at first but she notices how often it is now. she then asks him why it's so often he asks for money "uh.." he hesitated to tell her at first but he then tells her "you see my family is poor so they can barely eat anything..." heather understood and said "its fine!" he then looks relieved. but later on, she said to him "I want to meet your family!" but for some reason he refused, heather thought it was strange but she ignored it. Now the money he takes keeps on growing bigger and bigger, heather was thinking how needy can a family be? but she just ignored it, She told him that he can't take money from her for a while since it's needed but then he becomes angry he shouts at her, Heather was easily swayed that why her exes are toxic and cruel to her, So she just gives him the only money she has left. When he told her he needed money again. she just couldn't do it anymore she told him that it was already clear he was just using her for money. He just agreed to that and left her. Now, this is why they sang those songs cause Conan wished he was heather while heather fell in love with the wrong person again. There were no particular happy endings in this story but they moved on rather than be stuck singing those songs.
