    About a week ago I was sitting on the toilet in a pretty decent sized restroom. All of sudden, in the middle of doing my business, the power went off. There are about me and 4 other guys that all shouted a couple of choice words. And what do I do? I open up the heavens with 1,000 lumens of my Streamlight HLX. Cheers and clapping of hands could be heard through out the restroom. That day, I was the lumen hero. Always carry a light.

      Don't let this distract you from the the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon.

    Dude shoots better one handed than I do with two hands. I've got some dry fire reps to do.

    I appreciate this video, as a guy who doesn't often use a pistol mounted light. Mostly because I haven't found one that I like to wear AIWB that I would actually trust my life to.

    I carry my light day and nite. I have been in building with no windows an the power goes out. Great time to have a light.

    Aaron, I'm a fellow lefty. The right handed mag release button annoyed me when I first started shooting. I tried using my index finger, but noticed I broke the grip too much. So I moved to using my middle finger and find, while my grip still breaks, my trigger finger is not as broken. I also believe the ability to relieve the the trigger finger of another fine motor skill task and relegating it to the middle finger may be of benefit. Give the middle finger mag release a try and let me know if you agree. Great video BTW.

    I was a security supervisor for a major casino industry. Lights were a REQUIREMENT! Most of my officers went to the famous brands we’re all familiar with.

    Good stuff as always. I carry a smaller flashlight so the Switchback won't fit it, but I added a DIY retention ring to give me some control over the light.

    My buddy and I were doing lowlight shooting, and his batteries in his weapon light died. So we switched to handheld lights

    Are you by chance a Michael Z Williamson fan? I ask because Big Orange Ball...also if I may ask, what light are you using in this video?

      BOB (Big Orange Ball) was a term we used in the Infantry when I was in. Since he is proir military, guesing that is where he picked it up. Never heard of the williamson guy.

    Do you switch your light constant on when you flip it out to get a two handed grip? I can’t quite get it to be consistently momentary.

    • @SageDynamics
      @SageDynamics  3 роки тому +1

      Constant on. Momentary isn’t a real advantage and compromises your grip.

    Aaron I contacted you on instagram about a comp fitting in the 6354do. I have modded my holster to fit, just have to take the screw out of the end and apply heat to open up the end a bit. Then go back and smooth it up with a Dremel.

    Friends asking why I carry a flashlight. One is for striking tool and if bright enough, still can blind even at day. Two, night time is dangerous, always be prepared.

    I have "night lights" in main rooms that go towards egress so that I can be aware of my target when leave bedroom. AND not break anymore toes.
