  • The detoxification process takes many forms. We can drink juices, eat nutritious food and even use organic products to maximize the detox process. But remember, our skin is our body's largest organ. Sweat, oil and toxins are excreted through our skin everyday. So why not cleanse our largest organ?

I know I'm late on this topic but I'm going to comment anyway. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4lung cancer 8/2015. after chemo and radiation he was sent home to die 6/2016. I found an alternative treatment facility and he did the natural treatment to include intensive detox and immune boosting through vitamins and nutrition. last scan showed only 2 tiny masses left. Today he is able to breathe on his own, and do many things cancer had taken away.
the way I contribute to my community is by sharing our story and teaching people some of what I learned about healing our bodies. I am a Deputy Sheriff and I meet many people who are suffering with an illness or know someone who is. Thank you for your video which have helped us as well. 😊

I teach RN students micriobiology. But they get a little different perspective from me. I am a chiropractor. And I take every opportunity to expose then to the "alternatives". I even have then write a paper about the disease/condition/illness of their choice, they have to tell me what causes it, how it's treated with western med and some of the alternative ways of treating it. It is so awesome to see how their minds are being opened! What a blessing to be a part of this process!

I used to suffer from panic attacts. It turns out I was magnesium and zinc deficient. Now I love using hot baths with epsome salt, lavender and eucalyptus oils to help calm my nerves. Listening to inspirational or relaxing music can really help after a long day. Thanks for the tip to try baking soda and ginger. It will be added to my next bath!

Thank you for all the amazing and informative videos Drew! I truly enjoy learning new healthy techniques and recipes from you. I have showed many of your videos to family as well hoping to inspire them. How I inspire and make a difference to others is coaching a special needs baseball team for the last eight years along with my new husband (just married 7/2/14!) who has been assisting me for the last five. We really enjoy helping the children and come away with so much more inspiring us to be better people in all areas of our life. I've been wanting to purchase a juicer for sometime, but have not had the chance due to budgeting. Recently I was diagnosed with Hashimoto disease in addition to Rheumatoid Arthritis. More than ever I know taking care of my health is first priority and I truly believe our bodies can heal themselves and many diseases are not life sentences. I will be surrounding myself with more positive energy and influence diving deeper into healthy living and functional medicine. Thank you for being an inspiration.

    Thanks for the tips! I find you very inspirational and vibrant . I am 52 years young with a very complicated life right now .We have four adult children and five grand children and my mother has Alzheimer as did my Dad whom has since passed .These challenges put a lot of stress and need for balance upon my mind and body so useful health info like yours is super important to me .I am also a gastric bypass patient and it has served me well in the eight years since I had it done .I am much healthier in many ways but it is not without its challenges either .Protein sources can become boring at times and food choice combinations are another way to feed ones mind as well as body! It has been an journey to make friends with my body .My first diet was weight watchers ,I was in third grade and my Mom took me to meetings and explained to me what to eat off my lunch tray at school .Each night we went over what my choices would be the following day on our menu .And that was the beginning to my yo yo diets . I just started watching the candida vids and want to do the detox as soon as I can make a plan .Also I will be doing some more research on juicing and find the whole ginger connection another interesting topic as I`m wondering if it may be helpful in warding off my odds of getting Alzheimer later in life. At one time I felt betrayed by my body for being fat and out of shape but as time passes I have become friends with my body. It took me a while to realize I could befriend and nurture my body my life vessel really . I have come to realize this journey is a dance and my body did not betray me I had been beating it up and in so many ways I betrayed it.So thanks again for the wonderful info and keep it coming .Inspiration and good information is invaluable......Tully ...(o;

Awesome video. I teach at the local High School. Teaching is being a good listener. Daily the students open up to me to share their thoughts and ask questions about life in general. This gives me the opportunity to share inspirational, life changing good information that if not understood or taken seriously now, may later be when they reflect upon it. I have run into students from the past that have told me how I inspired them when in my class. What a rewarding experience to know they did listen after all.
I look forward to watching more of your videos and trying the bath recipe.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. As I learn, I share. As I share, so do others. Like SO many, I've been diagnosed with cancer. The silver lining is that in the "floundering" I've found willingness to radically change my lifestyle. I am not my former self. I've had my doorbell ring and found someone standing in front of me saying, "I don't want to die! Can you help me?" Everyone who comes to me is now my teacher. I see myself in everyone. Your video is superb and I'm so proud of you. No, I'm not employed by anyone at all, just someone who finally got tested and no cancer found where it was. More tests upcoming on other parts. I'll happily take radical lifestyle change as the answer. (No chemo, no radiation)

Hey drew i was so excited to start juicing a few days ago as i have wanted a juicer for ages but didn't have the money. Me my partner and my 3 year old daughter made tons of changes to what we eat and drink by eliminating processed food and stuff like pizzas and instead we are eating fruits and vegetables everyday and drinking filtered water. Anyway we got given a cheap juicer off a family member and was over the moon to start juicing. But after a few days the juicer has died and its out of warranty. :( so this is why we would be very grateful for the juicer as we want to carry on our transformation and live a long and healthy life. Thanks guys.

Hi Drew, thank you for another inspiring and informative video. I look forward to using this bath for relaxation soon. I'm writing to mention my personal impact on my community to qualify for a chance to win the Kuving's Juicer.
I currently live in New Orleans, LA and I'm sure you've heard of our party culture (i.e. Bourbon St., Jazz Fest, Mardi Gras, etc.) . It's a fantastic place to be when celebrating life, but it can easily become toxic and chaotic due to the excessive indulgence. However, we are currently experiencing a major shift in the local consciousness that I think is due to the National Attention that we received after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The beautiful thing is that so many people from all over the world have migrated here to experience the culture, to promote healthy change in the city, and to help contribute to it's recovery because NOLA is worth saving. I am one of those people and although small in my efforts I work daily to be a part of the greater good happening now. Here's what I contribute…I work as calisthenics trainer part time in our City Park and once a month I conduct a Pay-It-Forward boot camp FREE to all the participants. In return they pledge to do three Random Acts of Kindness for strangers in the following week. I started it back in December and though our numbers range each month it's always a new group of people coming together to not only do something healthy and positive for themselves, but also to help others. It's my hope to inspire and promote kindness in our city because I agree that, "we are in this together." Thanks for everything, Drew.
    Be Well,
    M.Scott

hey Drew! me&my dad shouting "what's up?!" all the way from South Korea :)
the hope&inspiration to really flip me&my dad's physical life once and for all
really compelled me to comment your video, in hopes of starting it off with the amazing juicer you are giving out to a lucky fitlifer. *fingers crossed*
I am a 21yr old serving in the Korean military, with my dad fighting 4th degree cancer who is picking his life back up after surgery of removing his stomach.
Reality is right now at this point and time we are going through the lowest of lows with me being in a forced military service with a monthly pay of just $130 thats really holding me back from achieving my dreams of becoming one of the most influencial people in the world through helping people through my passions in life. Its tough barely being able to pay rent with what I earn and with my dad having to be working two jobs just to fight of financial pressure...
It kills me to see my dad worn out all the time, and hurts me even more to see him destroy his body with unhealthy food, that lack in the beautiful and powerful nutrients of LIFE. You have shown me the way to a fitlife and I am anticipating the moment me and my dad can absolutely and proudly say we're living a VIBRANT & FITLIFE.
I cannot put into words how much I respect, appreciate, and love your service&contribution to the world.
    Thank you fitlife. Go fitlifers!

I just subbed! I used to juice all the time and stopped. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia five years ago and have been unable to work until recently. Last night I took a detox bath and used what I had on hand which was epsom salts, baking soda, apple cider vinegar, and 10 green tea, honey and lemon tea bags. I soaked for 30 minutes and also scrubbed my body with baking soda and olive oil. When I got out of the tub, I was extremely relaxed and went to bed. I slept like a baby and this says a lot because I typically suffer from insomnia. But, what blew my mind is how I felt this morning. I had no pain or stiffness at all! I felt so good that I put on gym clothes and walked three miles. I haven't done that in a long time. My goal is to start juicing again on a daily basis. My question is, should I incorporate green smoothies as well, or is it more beneficial to juice the greens? Thanks!!

Hey my name is Jherrel from the Netherlands. Yes the Bronze medal winner of the Worldcup hehe. Well my story began when I once went for a checkup. I was totally overweighted and very close to become obese. And I thought no way! I was always eating everything I can and drinking booze etc. But now my health was more important. So I took the decision of no more! I started working out(sixpackshortcuts). And luckily I saw that video with you and mike chang. I was so curious and started to juice! Now a few month later I went from 97Kilograms tot 78Kilograms. And still a few weeks left to get my fitnesscoach degree. People keep on asking me questions how I did it. I tell them where there is a will there is always a way. And im willing to help them everybody deserves to have a GOODLIFE. Than you very much.

The ring around the tub after using these ingredients is massive. This must mean for sure that it works. And always remember to use natural cleaners after bathing as well. I don't need to use baking soda for my water as my water hasn't any chlorine. I use bentonite clay in the water with some sea salt and it is amazingly relaxing with great skin results.

Hi Drew, I have been watching you for a while, not in a stalkerish kinda way, but I discovered you via Six Pack Short Cuts, where I have spent the last 10 months getting inspired to bring exercise to my life. I have made just 2 juices this week following you on Fitlife TV, I dont have the right equipment so have used a muslin type cloth to squeeze the juice from pulp, thats a work out in itself. This is gonna sound awlful, but I havent taken a bath in years and that has been due to my size. I have found bathing uncomfortable and not enjoyed seeing my body in that way, so showers it has been. This year via eating a clean diet as possible and learning some exercise techniques from six pack short cuts, I have lost just over 6.5 stone, which is awesome. I have 18lbs left to go to complete my weight loss journey. I believe juicing will support the rest of my journey and as I can now fit comfortably in the bath, I can use this detoxification bath recipe to support my mindset journey. I am soooo greatful for the videos I have seen to far from you and love this one as your have touched a nerve in me and inspired me to keep going on my journey. I would love to be considered for the Juicer Prize as this would support me with the 18lbs, I have today purchased the required oils, epsom salts etc and I will schedule bathing into my diary so it HAPPENS and then whilst in the bath I will work on mindset!!!! Big thanks from Sharon Long - Norfolk, England!!

I will try this soon, thanks. Quick question though, I do not have a water softener and since fluoride is in tap water and fluoride is really bad for you, I should not do this correct?

Thank you for the suggestions on the detoxifying in the bath with the added essential oils and the ginger, definitely adding to the regimen of daily life. I currently am in school for alternative medicine and the suggestions that you have made are very helpful. I already take baths daily with the charcoal filter to remove the chlorine and toxins in the water system... I am struggling with detoxifying my body and am working with a functional medicine Dr. Lisa Maharajh who is absolutely a Godsend. but have a rash that has been on my right hand for almost a year now... help ...the juicer would help in the detoxification process of my liver and allow healing... thank you and have a blessed day!!!

Awesome information. I sometimes will use apple cider vinegar, and other times tea tree oil. (Lavender and Peppermint also go well together) But always a lot of epsom salt. Wash your hands and face with the epsom salt. Feet also, and any other dry problem spots you might have!! Thanks again!

Hi Drew I and 15 and I am over weight. I ahve lost about 5 pounds due to listening to how you combine food to be able to get the proper nutrition. If it weren't for you I wouldnt have any support in losing weight. My community has a lot of homeless people in it who are uneducated. I have submitted a letter to to be given money for a house which is a descent size to start have them sleep and get back on their feet. I hope I will be able to get a chance to help them. I cried when I saw a homeless person not know how to count money. And my heart broke so thank you for reading this comment and please please never give a chance to give someone food or money
    Thank you

I started juicing about a year ago and I've seen amazing benefits from it. From weight loss to improvement in my skin. I used to be extremely oily and through juicing my skin is now more a normal skin type without looking like I fried chicken on it by 10 am. Also dark circles and baggy eyes have minimized. The best outcome though has to be my immune system. It has improved drastically. I just love juicing and love watching your videos. I ran into you on FB one and haven't stopped watching you since then.

Hi my names Davin im sixteen, i was overweight my whole life then i found the power of being a vegan, I've been a vegan for about a year and I lost my way, then I realized how good I felt being confident being happy for once so then I came back and about a month ago transitioned into the raw/rawtill4 ; I've never felt better, but my mom who's also overweight has cancer and though she hasn't given up meat entirely I've inspired her so much to cut it down to twice a week and she feels better than she has in years, I guess all im really asking for is a juicer to help me and my mom continue on the journey easier thanks :-)

I am 22 years old, from nyc. Originally from bangladesh so I basically grew up eating oily curries. But about 3 years ago I decided to change my lifestyle. I started reading many books including engineering the Alpha 2.O and other books and started working out and eating what I thought was healthy. I have lost some weight. Went from an obese and on the border line of high blood sugar and cholesterol to being good and healthy. But I still was not satisfied. Thats when i came across your channel and found all my answers. I started juicing and taken all these vegetables and super foods and really changed my life. From maca, spirulina, blue green algae, chia seeds, cacao you name it. I also do martial arts and have also started meditating and doing tai chi. Now I am completely a different person and people also see me and always ask me what is different about me? I tell them exercise and start juicing. My friend has bad blood flow and has a fungal problem on his feet and couldn't find a solution even with the doctors. I had him start detoxifying to purify his blood, started exercising and doing yoga. Amazingly he is almost completely healed. Basically I try my best to make this my lifestyle. And like Hipacrotese said "Let thy food be thy medicine and they medicine be they food" I take that real serious! Thank you for helping my change my life. I still have a long way to go but Im not stopping and not planning to stop! If I can get a juicer I would give it to my dad who had knee surgeries many time and recently had an eye surgery. Everyday he taken like dozens of medications for diabetes, blood sugar, cholesterol. you name it he is very ill and old. But I know with full certainty that with a juicer he can change his life!

    Hello Drew Canole!
My name is Zachary Scott and I am a 20 year old Salesman! I lead sales teams on trips across the country. Every weekend we go to a different location! I've been doing this for over 2 years now and have had the opportunity to experience different places all the way from Philadelphia, to St. Louis and even as far north as North Dakota! It's quite an exciting lifestyle.
Now, when I first began here I had spent 6 months working out in the gym 3 times a week with a workout program tailored to my personal fitness goals. I had sought out the help of a football coach who I had seen dramatically change the lives of those who were WILLING to give it their all! I gave it my all for 6 months and it was well worth it! It was not simply becoming physically capable but every time you show up to do a 2 hour workout where everything in your body, save for your personal willpower, is begging for you to take a break it really does something extra special to develop your character.
This carried me through this job where I have a mentality of "I will persist until I succeed!" in which every day is an individual attempt to better myself and those around me.
After a year and a half of these demanding work weeks where I would literally stand in front of my chair talking to crowds of people every day (our product is very exciting) I was offered the position of a team leader within the company. I am the youngest team leader this company has ever had and that comes with its challenges but also its advantages. I have also had the highest grossing sales within the company for the past several months! Now, this would not be possible by myself however. Everyday I have to be a leader. This means not just my ability to pick the most important tasks, or my ability to become close with my teammates but also my own personal character. I believe, in a team situation, everything rises and falls with leadership.
This means that I need to have integrity. So, though we do have long workdays, often from sun-up until sun-down, that I must hold myself to the highest standard! For I should not ask more of the people around me than what I am doing personally. In other words to lead means you pull from the front, not push from the back.
As part of building my personal character I have set a 100 day goal which I am carrying out. Today was day 15. I call it the goal of self-mastery. Every morning begins with a meditation and the reading of a self-mastery affirmation that I have written. Every night I hold myself in a horse stance which is a kung-fu position that my close friend and mentor taught to me, it helps strengthen the passage of chi throughout your body. I also write in a journal before I drop off to sleep every night! A day is an important thing. Finally, I have switched to taking cold showers. They are uncomfortable and difficult but they prepare me for the discomfort and difficulty that comes with leading. I also find they wake me right up while at the same time calming me down.
I have only been a fit-lifer for a few short days now but I have watched through a variety of your videos and was especially surprised to find your video on fluoride toothpaste from just a few days ago since that was a topic that I was debating about internally, going so far as to ask an investigative reporter what they could dig up on the matter! I had already switched to using Tom's Fluoride-free toothpaste but because of your video I just went to the grocery store across the street from our hotel to get some Coconut oil for the purpose of oil pulling. I'm going to try it tonight!
I appreciate your mindset videos for what is the point of improving one area of your health without bettering the others? It is imbalanced and will surely lead to you slipping back to where you once were. Success must be found in all areas of life. Family, finances, friends, health, well-being and so on.
So like I said I lead these teams and recently I have acquired some trainees. I put on motivational speakers in our van rides which they thoroughly enjoy and I hope to help them better their lives financially and morally and get them thinking about what they dream to do with their lives! For I know this job is a means to acquire the things to propel you to your next step. I truly believe that you can have anything in life that you want as long as you help enough other people get what they want! And so I hope to continue to be a role-model to these trainees, but also to my friends and to my family about how to find success in all fields.
Drew I appreciate your videos and I hope you continue to make them but not just for me, for yourself! You seem to be on a journey and I think it should be shared.
    Thank you, Drew.
    Sincerely,
    -Zachary Scott
