For just handling the figure both options are totally fine. For my "work" I prefer cloth gloves because they are reusable and washable and they look classy.
That looks like it has some good amount of weight when you fully assemble the figure and the base together. But that box looks pretty good. Although cant decide which one is better the window type box or this one?
The assembled figure itself is surprisingly light for its size. The base is hollow, which makes it superlight. The dress with the book is the heaviest part of the whole thing and is heavy enough to keep the figure in place by creating a semi-vacuum under the base plate (as long as the display surface is smooth).
@SakegeistCollects actually have a request during the end of the year it be pretty awesome if you could show case your collection. I got about over 20ish... most of em are stuffed in the closet because I can't fit them all outside...
