    You should always show a 3' landing at the top of the stair it's code otherwise your taking a header off the top tread when you open the door

      Yes you are correct - but I’m not really sure what you are referring to with regard to the video.

      If you walking up the stair the last tread at the top their should be 3' from the tread nosing to the door then when opening the door to walk onto the stairs their is 3' before you start your descent down the stairs it's all part of the stair and it should be shown

      Yea - I get that. But this isn’t something relative to this video. I didn’t show a door at the top of the stair? The video was made to show how to create a U-Shaped stair
