Just bought this out of emergency, although have skepticism because of the price.. Looks like there’s no corners being cut here, I’m shocked! despite being 70% cheaper than one of the earliest gallium charger called finsix dart with the same size I believe. it cost $80 brand new around 2 years ago? which is crazy now that it is achievable at this price range. Impressive technology adaptation
Something worries me, I used a voltage test key on the end of the Baseus 25w Charger cable and the light came on. Does anyone know if this is normal or explain?
My charger baseus 65w 2C-2A GaN 3 pro I charge my phone with 2 usb c and 2 usb A it stopped working. it open blue light keeps open and closing. its not charging my phone and laptop
Cool video. Usbc female ports are horrible. Ps5 controllers will not last because of their's. I've taken to fixing them. I live in Canada and ali always has the gan chargers with an European plug for dirt cheap so I've bought a bunch and add them to any place I can put them on my new work bench which is an L shape 10x5ft they make great places to plug in 5 and 3.3 v power with a little break out board with an smd cap and regulator.
I have also problem with my gan2 pro 65w . Middle port usb c gives out only impulses of power , my phone shows charging then stop chargin again chargin then stop charging so on .. also usb A port working only if i push or bend the charging cable sideways if i leave it free does nothing..
Thank you @@stanleym i will do that , but is there any solutions to open the case without breaking it ? With hot air or something ? I will like to look good when i assembly it back ..
@@stanleym i made it to work again all 3 ports , the problem was some soldering joints at both ports, i cleaned the old solder from c2 and usb A , resolder again , tested and voila , didn’t need to disassemble . Thanks for this inspiring video tutorial.
@@Cyupcheack_nebunull Thanks for sharing. What so you mean with "didnt need to disassemble?" You still had to Open the plastic case? Did you find a nice way to Open and Close again?
Hi @@janw4598 I wanted to say that it was not necessary to take apart everything, I just removed the entire module from the case, I took off the protective sheet metal shield and I had access to the solders to make them without having to take anything else apart, after I redid the solders, I put the shield back, put everything back in the case, glued with super glue and that's it.
Mine Just broke, I opened trying to fix it, and I shit you not, there was no soldering on the usb C ports, I removed it with my bare hands. Unbelievable!!!
NEVER buy those small "GaN" 65W chargers. I had 3 dying on me within half a year, all replaced by the shop but as the unreliability annoyed me too hard i just switched to a 20W iPhone power brick.

Mine was broken the first day I got it. I think they have a QA/QC problem. C1 port is broken, but C2 is fine.

So it comes from mechanical problems. Try to solder connectors again and clean the contact. Look on the capacitors if looks fine.
