Only press the pedal it is all. Maybe reason of problem, your pedal has big press on the switch, then after some time switch will broke. For new one is good set the end point right way.

Good morning, thank you. I did yesterday night put a metal bar between central console and brake pedal. Now I have more space but still struggling to undo the nut. But hopefully when I have more time I will do it.

Hi, if its happen randomly then it looks for bad contact somewhere. Try to clean all connectors , look for wirings etc.

Hi, firstly clean all parts and connector with 100% alcohol, than look on all capacitos in power supply. So PC3LE and PC3x are wery similar, than if you know that problem could be in regulator, change it and capacitors too.

@@stanleym Thanks for your fast reply! I cleaned all parts and connector. The three connectors "Front Panel, Bass and Treble" were corroded. The plastic part of the connectors looked like a battery had leaked. That was realy strange but i cleaned it all and by now everything worked. But i dont know how long because i also changed the battery. I noticed today that the LED from the Drum button do not work. But only the LED doesn't work, the button works. Could it only be a defective LED or a problem with logic? Could all the problems also be due to a defective LCD screen. So could a LED Screen change solve all the several problems?

@@stanleym Update: the blinking display is back. I update the OS but nothing change. The diagnostic shows something strange. When i use the brithness controll of the display it shows me "pressure= (number depends on using the controller). The Diagnostic als show me a failure of Mara ROM 1: Low even: 49717547 exp. 49717547 actual Low odd: 468D8798 exp. 468D8F98 actual High even: 76FA741B exp. 76FA741B actual

Hi Stanley, i have now cleaned everthing twice and and some problems are gone. But now I have this Problem. In Diagnosic mode if i press any note neither its white or black key the lcd shows pressure. The harder I press, the higher the displayed value is. So it changes when you press the button. At the same time, the brightness of the LCD changes by the same value. The harder I press, the brighter the screen becomes while I press. When I release the button, the screen becomes darker again and the pressure value that is displayed goes down again. If I use the brightness potentiometer, I can adjust the pressure value in the same way. Normally the value of the key pressed should be displayed in diagnostic mode. for example: KEY C4 60 C4 60 Pressing harder, the display will change to show an increasing range of pressure values from about 20 to at least 246. But for me these values are not shown, instead pressure is shown which value, as mentioned, can be changed by pressing the button harder. What do you mean. Is this a LCD Problem or a Problem with one of the Boards like cold solder or a component failure? Or can it be a problem with the power supply?

@@bastianheger7493 I think that is the secound one - cold solder or any track on PCB has broken etc..

The red wire is in schematic , is the direction setings for 245.

Try first clean it. Best is 100% alcohol-propyl acohol, the sprays are not the best , comonly dirty the contack for long time.

@@stanleym Thanks for your reply. I got out of the hospital yesterday, I was on treatment, so I'm going to buy that alcohol and do it all again because the contact spray didn't help. When I turn Kurzweil pc3 on and off several times, it reads the program and then works without problems, it was like that before any cleaning and it's like that now. To take the kurzweil to an authorized service center plus the repair would be over a thousand euros, if I were to take it for repair and pick it up, the trip would be more than 3,000 kilometers and it's not worth it, so I have to try to repair it myself if at all possible because otherwise all that remains is to throw it in the trash. Should I buy and install the original 74HC541 or should I buy and install this other 74HC245 like you did? ​

So sliders are soldered on PCB, than you can change them. Send me a photo if I good understand what is your problem.

Firstly clean all contact and then try to change the IO.

@@stanleym I have pulled apart all contacts and sprayed them with contact cleaner. Same problem. What do you mean by change IO? (remember you are talking to a noob/novice in electronics)

@@prewinder Yes I mean IO like Integrated Circuit - if you have a possibilitry to measure something than firstly try to measure signals from U1,U2 etc- which is seen in the video. If not good - change the parts - same like in video.

So it comes from mechanical problems. Try to solder connectors again and clean the contact. Look on the capacitors if looks fine.

@@stanleym i made it to work again all 3 ports , the problem was some soldering joints at both ports, i cleaned the old solder from c2 and usb A , resolder again , tested and voila , didn’t need to disassemble . Thanks for this inspiring video tutorial.

@@Cyupcheack_nebunull Thanks for sharing. What so you mean with "didnt need to disassemble?" You still had to Open the plastic case? Did you find a nice way to Open and Close again?

Hi @@janw4598 I wanted to say that it was not necessary to take apart everything, I just removed the entire module from the case, I took off the protective sheet metal shield and I had access to the solders to make them without having to take anything else apart, after I redid the solders, I put the shield back, put everything back in the case, glued with super glue and that's it.
