I’m from Wisconsin and it’s great to know that we have 2 of the best courses in America. Erin Hills and Whistling. O also loved the caddie’s energy!

Whistling Straights is an elite course like Pebble Beach , Augusta National and TPC Sawgrass.
Of course the day you golf whistling is one of only like 3 days its rained here in Sheboygan county all summer. Im sure still a blast though

I was privileged to play there last October when I traveled up for a wedding. Definitely felt like I was playing in The Open. Wind, fast, and beautiful. I tell my friends it's the North East Pebble Beach! What a fun round with you and your caddy.

Imagine paying $555.00 dollars to play a miserable windy course all day that kicks your ass. I mean seriously , its like Pebble Beach. If you get a morning t-time the wind is real low , as soon as 11 oclock comes around its a constant 15-25 mph.
I'm from Oklahoma, and a +4. former d1 guy at OSU; we embrace the wind. So, from my perspective, you are saying, why climb MT Everest, when you can do holiday hill? You must not understand competitive men. I would slope this course in these conditions well over 150, I would do it for the personal achievement, as shooting 66 at my local muni doesn't cut it anymore.... same reason big guys lift bigger weights at the gym....
@@MrHazz0 Played 3 years on the hooters tour back in the early 90's. Always had problems with windy conditions. You boys in OK grew up with wind as a part of your daily grind. Thats why you guys are great ball strikers. Watch the wind roll in this weekend at the Open Championship and swallow some of the best players in the world.
@@jasongrgr Its why Old Tom Watson had a chance at 62 on a nasty week back in 09 if memory servers. And hooters tour huh, you might have met my dad he was on that in the mid 90s rofl. And yes my iron game is strong, we learn to control spin and trajectory or die.

I love a good test of golf , but if the weather is real crappy, 25-30mph winds , rainy , drizzling , i just wont spend that kind of money. I always want me and my group to have an enjoyable day. Weather blows in , i understand that. But to start of with 25-30mph. No thank you. I was out of Atlanta , GA when i played Hooters. 93-96
