Yet another great video! I hope that everyone realizes these videos are 'freebee's' made by a local club meant for local club members who are generous enough to share with non-members looking for assistance and answers/ideas for their turnings. Thank heaven that we don't have to contribute $$$ to assist the SWMO woodturners to watch each and everyone of their free videos. I for one, couldn't afford to buy unseen videos in hopes they might answer my questions but can go to the internet and watch until my questions are answered or that I learn something new! Thanks again to not only the SWMO Woodturners, but to ALL the woodturning clubs who freely share their advice and expertise to we newbies and woodturners with less experience or with questions! Save turning to you ALL!
+Kenn Harris Thanks Kenn for your kind words. We are attempting to get better with them and hope to ring many more to UA-cam :)
Excellent, A++ found this very helpful.
Good clear presentation. I learned from this. Thank you.
Great info. I didn't mind not seeing the slides, but not hearing the questions from the audience was frustrating! You should have the presenters re-state the question and then answer.
Excellent instruction on sanding and coloring. The video would have been better if more of the slides showing examples were shown AND another camera showed the bottom of the bowl when he used the purple dye.
I color wood. I learned a lot from this video. Only criticism please point the camera at the power point slides & not at voiceover
Great info.....gonna use some of this with the 5 color wood dye kit.....now I just need to refine my wood turning skills lol...do you travel with these classes?
Seeing as all my pieces for resale are of segmented assemblies. Will these dyes that you talk about work this style of turning?
How did you varnish it? Good technique but lacks in some details. Thumbs Up. Thanks
Liked the happy dance
Lester is quite the dancer isn't he :)
It was the best of the video!!!
what dye is being used ?
Product names and sources listed somewhee would be handy.
Wish we could see what he is chatting about would make this an informative clip
It would be great to see the slides please.
I would like to ask him if it's raw wood how do you keep the dye from seeping through the end grain and spotting the outside? Is the wood he's using been sealed from the inside or outside?
This video would be better if we could see his slides. Watching him walk around and speak isn't as helpful as watching he slides would be. It would also be great if we could hear the questions that are asked by the people in attendance.
he showed the slides but they were hidden behind his huge stomach
Would have preferred seeing the screen instead of the presenter wqhen he was using the slides.
WAS THERE AN ADMISSION CHARGE TO SEE THIS GUY?
Can't see slides
Thank's for not showing the slides, that would of been too helpful.
Sorry Juan. Equipment and know how are not always available. We really would have liked to have done that but it just was not possible. By the way, I checked your UA-cam channel... when do you plan to load some up for others to view?
Poor camera positions.
Not important to see the audience, but it is to see pictures, and demonstrations.
OKAY?
WOW, wonder why he can't change the Power Point Slides himself....SMH
Lee Goins Logistics and affordability do not always intersect. As you know, all equipment is costly. The person running the video switch and recording also is responsible for the PPT presentation. I hope that Les asking for the next slide didn't keep you from learning from him. :)
