Hmmm Seems my comment has disappeared, My Arrow, the twin to this one was a 200cc tax buster made smaller to drop a tax bracket! Just wondered if this was a 250 or 200 version?
Thats got to be worth the money !!, couple of questions if I may?, Is it a villiers engine, and if so does it have dynastart like say the engine they supplied to panther. Also i noticed under the seat there is a cap that screws into something ? is that for a reservoir for a two stroke oil autolube system ? great bike, !!!

It's Ariel's own engine, designed by the great Val Page. The fuel is strictly premix. The cap is the actual petrol tank, the front pod is a dummy.
That's not a proper one, it doesn't smoke..
A "smokey-Joe" that doesn't smoke. Impossible.
