The quicker steering rack is what makes it feel like its helping you drive, you should make a comparison video on the steering response between the bugeye, blobeye, hawkeye, and that 2018
More classics like yours need to show up on subietroops. Im biased as i have 2 classics. My girl has a bugeye wagon. And her son has a bg9 legacy outback
As a old subie lover. The newer ones are growing on me and that red is gorgeous. Good pick up. Nothing better than being the 1st owner, treat her right and enjoy. Blessings to the whole crew!

I own a subaru and family owns wrx/stis/foresters/outbacks, you get the idea. Was going to pull the plug on the new 2018 sti also. Drove it, felt like the car feels like a camry, if not slower. I would say its a whole lot more luxurious than the older subarus which is a plus; which I like ( getting older now). BUT not as exciting and raw as the older subies. I remember 10 years ago when I drove the sti, It was thrilling, but now, not so much. In the end, I picked up a mint condition ap2 rio yellow s2k with under 20k miles. Moral of the story gonna wait for the new 2020 sti. In the mean time, gonna enjoy the s2k. Grats Camacho on the pick up! Hope you enjoy her.

Why not wait for the 2019 sti they are coming to dealers in like 2 weeks. And now they come with the subaru type RA motor and transmission. Reinforced pistons and a shorter 3rd gear. With a small bump in HP.
Awdrx not to over priced the 2019 cost the exact same as the 2018 all you had to do was wait 2 weeks. You guys are thinking about the 2018 type RA yeah to expensive. But the new sti comes with what the type RA has for the same price as a regular STI

I had a 2016 STI and I had to get rid of it bcuz the previous owner abused it too much so I got a 2017 Camaro SS and even though the Camaro has more HP and I think it's a better car all around, I still miss my Subaru.. maybe when they redesign the engine and get more power I'll buy one again bcuz I really do miss my subie
I have an ‘18 sti. I like the exterior of the Hawkeye the best. But the interior on the new car, and the steering, brakes and chassis one the new car are light years better! It’s also way more reliable and safe In a crash (knock on wood). Enjoy!
