    Nice job. Wide open area it's easy to maneuver appliances, I always seem to get 30in doorways to get a 32in fridge out of, have to slide it sideways on a moving blanket most times

      I made some jacks that go underneath n have two wheels on each jack then I strap them together around the fridge n they lift up about 3-4 inches off the ground n I can wheel it around anywhere.. people always say there’s no way u can move it by yourself.. I’m a small guy n I go in a move huge fridges China cabinets etc in a few minutes like nothing 😂 they sell some similar but I made my own that sit directly on the floor initially so I barely have to get what I’m moving picked up at all.. n fridges I don’t have to lean it or anything to get underneath.. they slip right under each side n u strap them around it together then I have a little bar that I use to jack it in there 3-4 inches..

    👍🏻 I Usually use the 4 foot appliance sled pads with the handles, or a dolly or combination of both. I seen you had some in your van also in the last video.

    Do American fridges not have to be left for a few hours after moving before they're plugged in? In UK the coolant has to settle for 5 - 8 hours or you end up with a tepid fridge.

    • @FloorsbySouthernboys
      @FloorsbySouthernboys  Рік тому +3

      Only if you lay them on their side. If you keep it up right, there is no problems.

    How do I lay laminate under a removable gas stove? It's attached by a chain and pipe at the wall so it can only move out a certain distance to get behind and clean etc.

    • @FloorsbySouthernboys
      @FloorsbySouthernboys  3 роки тому

      You have to disconnect the gas and move it completely out, otherwise you can adjust the front legs up on the stove and the back legs down and only put it under the front of the stove so that it appears to be all the way under, or you can pull it out far enough to drop a board down behind where it will lay flat to get the back legs on that board and then install your flooring under the front That will also keep it level

    There is a clip on the water supply tube that should have been attached to the fridge to keep the tube off of the floor.

    Just a suggestion...if you have a gas stove..I would highly recommend replacing the gas flexible line and differently have a licensed professional install the stove.
    You will have a bad day if you have a gas leak...just saying.

    #1 your a floor installer you shouldn’t be touching any water lines.#2 why didn’t you use masonite board to slide the frig back , not all fridges will be that lite
