so what about the 4-6 inches of flooring your just rolled across directly in front of the fridge? I don't get it.....you save the flooring under the fridge that no ones sees???
Watch at the end - they keep extra pieces for later (of course you still have to be careful when you first bring the unit in :-)
no it saves the floor in front of the fridge, gauranteed there will be residue/dmg from the slates under the fridge from mounting to the floor
You misunderstood the OP! @cruick suggested that he had to pull it out to install the fridge and it looked like he didn’t push the cardboard flush with the fridge. Meaning, he scratched the floor! You can see it when he is pushing it back in.
These are not great, as they seem more trouble than their worth! There are better ones on the market, where you can use the sliders and then remove them. Meaning you only need 1 set for all your appliances. If you live in the UK, the brand is called “flexible reinforcements” and the product is called “Furniture and Appliance Surface Saver and Floor Protection Sliders”
To me this video is not how you optimally install Glide n' Guard. You can see how the floor will be scratched right at the beginning with nothing underneath. Instead, have someone tilt the appliance forward and slide it under the back feet and then tilt backwards to move under front legs. If cannot tilt forward, then just insert under front feet so at least scratches are on floor that u can't see. Then once out, place under back feet too. Also for cases where it is dangerous to move appliance under general usage like washing machine, you should remove it.
