The double Manassas album was one of my favorites in the ‘70’s.
One of the best albums ever written and performed - period!
Steven Stills American legend and one of the best vocalist, guitarist, songwriters!
This. Footage. Is. Golden. Stills is so under-rated. Great songwriter and passionate performer.
What makes you believe he's underrated? Please explain.
I stumble upon these videos of Stills and he just amazes time and time again. The guitar playing, singing, song writing and musical arrangements are incredible! Only my opinion, but he’s definitely in the tops of all time musicians/performers.
I'm 75 and just found this recording.woww. I'm a big fan of Stephen stills and love Bonnie Bramlett voice
Was there! Just moved from Pittsburgh the year before. Bonnie Bramlett was an absolute Joy! Stephen Stills has ALWAYS!!!!!!!
Rock n Roll gold
so glad to have been a listener of music during these time
I was fortunate to see Manassas in concert during their debut album tour! PROBABLY THE BEST CONCERT I EVER ATTENDED!
Thank you. Love it. I have never heard this before.
Never heard Stills play slide, impressive, don't think there's too many styles Stills can't throw down on!
This was my favorite thing on that first Manassas record.
@Stephen Demboske 🔥
I must be getting old bc those were the good old days...this is an awesome piece of footage.
mickey30 amen brother
Easy on yourself. My roofer and I were talking about music and he is 35 and loves CSNY!!!
Great Line Up...
Manassas album rocked
🕊ohhhhhJ’aime trop ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🕊🕊🕊💙🕊
Love seeing Bonnie up there with him ❤️✌️
Sigh.................Those were the days........The Springfield, CSN, solo's....bringin' it all back, but then it never left some of us.
I love this!!
❤❤❤❤
Excellent
Great post! Thanks. I've seen Stephen several times but never with the exceptional Bonnie Bramlett. What a show it must have been.
Was at this show way back when..... 16th row left of stage even had my nanosecond of fame as I am in the full video when he comes off the stage and goes up the aisle
I was !
In his heyday! With Bonnie Bramlett no less!
Damn, this is good… Stephen Stills on fire… No doubt inspired by the beautiful, sexy Bonnie Bramlett!
I wish someday could Jam with him.
Rock & Roll Crazies / Cuban Bluegrass"
Lookout mama
Its comin to you
I can't tell you
What you gonna do
Rock and roll crazies
Get you right down
Make you feel so tough
Your feet leave the ground
Lookout mama don't you go too far
Don't you get hung up bein' no rock and roll star
You find out it's easy to lose your way
Catch yourself practicin' bein' shallow every day yeah
Don't wanna tell you
How to run your scene
I only can tell you
What happened to me
Keep you eyes open
Keep a clear head
The woman inside you
Might wind up dead
[Chorus:]
Girl I love you-oo-ooh
Yes I was taken
After it'd been a while
Wondered was I mistaken
Only my foolish pride
Sensibilities shakin'
Picking up piece by piece
You say I was shaken
Musica latina es cuban bluegrass
If I could thank you now
Feeling musch smoother
If I could just be here
Make it much cooler
Dale su alma bien
Por la descarga
Nada importa pues
En lo que hagas
thought I knew you
I guess I took myself
Right down the wrong road
Leading to the past
I know you're trying
To rearrange your mind
But you were lying
Do you laugh in my face
Turn back turn back the pages
Who remembers names
Who remembers faces
Turn back don't drive yourself crazy
Life's too short for ritualistic chases
Maybe tomorrow
You'll find you have to cry
And in your sorrow
See the mirror it doesn't lie
Just like the last time
You try to pull me down
You are the past time
And blind and death to sound
Turn back turn back the pages
Who remembers names
Who remembers faces
Turn back don't drive yourself crazy
Life's too short for repetitious changes
No use denying
You wasted my time
And caused the crying
And the bitterness to hide
Just trying to prove
You need nobody else
But you're bound to lose
Lying to yourself
Turn back turn back the pages
Who remembers names
Who remembers faces
Turn back don't drive yourself crazy
Life's too short for ritualistic chases
Turn back turn back turn back the pages
Note the great Bonnie Bramlett on backup vocals after the breakup with Delaney!!
We did become Facebook friends .
Did you notice it took three guys in the Latin Rhythm Section to do what Joe Lala did by himself! RIP Joe...

Finn!
I want you Stephen.
I wonder why this part of the show is not included in the "Un-official-dvd-version" which I have myself
If you see his atrap, you can see he's a guitarist. Usually singersongwriters use a narrow strap.
Is that Bonnie B?
This guy misses one thooth! for the rest muy bueno. he even speaks goood Spanish!!
She's not a woman to me.
