The director Yash Chopra is one of the biggest Hindi-film directors ever. And his son, Aditya Chopra, who wrote the script for "Veer Zaara", has also written and directed the all time classic love story "DDLJ" (1995) which has been playing in one special cinema in Mumbai for nearly 30 years.

Once correction is subtitles: She started calling Veer's foster parents Maa (Mom) and Bauji (Dad) right away. When she refused for dress initially, then Veer's Aunt say don't argue with her but what she actually said is "since you already call me Mom, then why that formality. I won't listen anything." also it's translated as 'sir' for 'Bauji' wrongly.
2004 was definitely SRK’s year you should check out other films that released that year ‘Main Hoon Na’ with same director as of Om Shanti om, its soo much fun and ‘Swades’ which is cult classic both very different styles but very great films. Also check out the song ‘Chaiyya-Chaiyya’ its a masterpiece…its filmed on a moving train, All the dancers were tied to the train but SRK was left loose as the sequence demanded him to jump.
SRK always has a emptiness in him, his parents are the reason for it, He always wish to spend more time to his father as he passed away when he was just 15. Yash Chopra( The Director) and Amitabh Bachchan are like his father figures, he has huge respect for them.SRK once said, his father asked him to visit Kashmir with him but he died early so he Couldn't go there with his father, he didn’t visit Kashmir ever even when he was a mega star, but later He visited Kashmir with Yash Chopra, he finally visited Kashmir with a father.
Lohri is a festival celebrating the arrival of the harvesting season. It is celebrated in Northern parts of the country. With similar festivals in other parts as well, albeit with different names.

Hi guys..just so you know there is a sequel of Munna bhai movie. Its called Lage raho Munnabhai. Its not a direct sequel to the hospital storyline but more like a reboot. He took munnabhai and circuit's original characters and put them in a new situation. Its a great movie.. Highly recommend. Also now that you are almost done with raju hirani's filmography i'd recommend to check out a few more directors like Sanjay leela bhansli, anurag kashyap, zoya akhtar, vishal bhardwaj, imtiaz ali, etc. Hope you like them.Keep up the good work 😊
Actually Veer didn't have a choice but to go back for the bag. She was thrashing around hysterically, which was only getting worse. It's not easy hanging from a helicopter, let alone with another human being going into full blown panic. He made a judgement call.
So I recently came across your channel and I am totally in love with your reaction videos. This time you chose one of our classics. Veer zara is the most legendary movie of all time. Late Yash Chopra was really a magician of Indian cinema in terms of cinematography and screenplay. We miss him a lot. He created wonders, he gave us gems with a great story line and music. You also must watch and react "Dil to Pagal Hai". Other than this there is also a SRK movie called "Paheli". It's one of a kind. A very underrated one but I assure you, it's a hidden gem yet to be acknowledged. Great going guys. Keep it up.
And YES... Big B (Amitabh Bachchan) & Hema Malini are legendary Bollywood actors since 70s 😅 They have worked together in many blockbusters together...and one of the iconic pairs in 70s times. That's why you can feel can feel the chemistry between them.
partition happened in the 40s when the British were leaving south asia, after world war 2. in 1947 the area was split in to 2 countries india and pakistan and then pakistan later split off again in to bangladesh. desi means people from the land, desh ( meaning land) refers too bangladesh, india and pakistan because they use to be united under British colonial rule. when the partition of india and pakistan happened it split the land of punjab in half and seperated it between 2 countries, the punjabi people were most impacted by this as they were forced to move from thier ancestral homes to other sides of the boarder based on religion. pakistan was gonna be for muslims and india for hindu and the minority religions were an after thought. muslims living in east punjab were forced to move west and sikhs and hindus in west punjab forced to move east, along the way there was mass murder, this was one of the biggest mass displacement of people in history. in the movie zaara is a muslim punjabi in pakistan and veer is a sikh punjabi from india, even tho they are both Punjabi the borders have caused tension between people who have the same culture, language and were once neighbours. partitions effected other regions across the border too like gujrat, but punjabis were the main group who got hurt the most by this partition. later bangladeshis endured the same when they partitioned from pakistan, patrition was painful and full of blood shed, 1 million people died and were forced to say good bye to homes thier familys had been raised in for generations. it impacts my grandparents till today, they lived in lahore before partition which is the city zaara lives in the movie, my grandparents still cry and recall about times before partition, about the muslim friend they had and family they lost on the walk over.
Fun Fact: SRK never takes a fee for working in a movie. He always tells his producers that make the movie as nicely as possible and release it. If the movie does well and makes money, and if you have a profit after accounting for all the expenses then they can give him what they feel makes sense. Yash Chopra, the maker of this movie also confirmed this in one of his interviews. SRK just loves to act and he wants to put all his heart in to make good movies. One of the reasons he is the face of Bollywood in the world and one of the, if not the biggest Star of Indian Cinema...
Love you guys!! Looks like you guys had fun watching this part 😊 In Hindi movies songs are a huge part of the story. They literally carry the story forward. You guys would enjoy the film several folds if you pay attention to the lyrics as well!
After "Veer Zaara", please watch a Bhansali movie: either "Bajirao Mastani" or "Ram Leela", both are with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone and both are great dramatic love stories.
11:47 they are showing in movie the time when zara went to India as early 60s, coz then going to india was easy but later it was made difficult to impossible because of 1965 war. So in the sense they were showing time of Zara n Veer youth as 1962/63 etc

Day 1 of discovering your channel and I have already watched all the reaction videos on indian movies . Loved them all. I can suggest a few that are my personal favorites and loved by many. They aren't classic or something but they are different from what you guys have been watching.
