I like the “every man” quality of your content. You make everything seem so doable. If it’s taking a booze cruise style train in Mexico, riding boats in the UK, or watching your buddies ride bikes for a fundraiser. These are things that anyone can do. I get so many ideas from you and I get to live vicariously through your videos. I look forward to each video. Thanks for sharing!
As someone who deals with depression and anxiety and is to poor to still see my mental health counselor. It's great to know people out there trying to help with the cost. I wish mental health counseling was covered in our healthcare system.
So many issues I see in society could be reduced or solved if access to mental counseling was more accessible.
Downie this was one of the most amazing journeys of my life and I can't wait for next time!!
Thank you for doing these amazing videos they bring the whole race back to me and thank you so much for spreading WIRTH hats message to so many people throiugh your videos.
And man did we want the ride in the mustange so bad that last day we got so close to it too!!
You got so close!! You guys really gave it your all. Next time!
Thank You Mr Downie for showing this as a ex-cycle frame maker and life long cyclist now aged 67 I can sadly no longer manage it but it sure brings an extra beat to my Heart.
I didn't realize how emotionally invested I was in this series until I was hooting and hollering from my couch while watching this final video! 😂❤👍🚴♂️X4
I love how intensely grassroots this event is right now, and I hope it's only going grow from here
Great work on this series! Throughout the series you took me from my first impression starting point of "quad tandem racing looks amazing, I want to register right away", to "quad tandem racing looks like a nightmare, I don't want anything to do with it", and back to "quad tandem racing looks amazing, I want to register right away".
A massive congratulations to everyone who has taken part in this event. And what a worthy cause to be doing all of this for. Keep up the amazing work.
I must say, this is the best "cutthroat" race I have ever seen. After the tension of the first day, I have enjoyed every minute of the race and the fellowship between the racers. It was about the win but even more about the people. I hope everyone is recuperated enough to do it again next year. Thanks, Mike. 🤟
Congratulations to all of the teams!
Wow! An epic finish befitting this unique race. Everybody won just for making it through all the breakdowns to the end, especially with that "70 kilometer sprint" near the end.
This has to be the craziest bike sport on the planet! And I hope to see it happen again, with a whole bunch of new teams plus returning teams 😁 This series was a fun watch. It had everything, suspense, laughter, blood, sweat and tears! All for a great cause. Kudos to all the competitors 👏 👏 👏
And I just ordered a hat! The one I really like is out of stock, so I'll check back and get that one as well later 😊
I donated. What an incredible story of teamwork. I love the editing choices in this. This really is absolutely amazing of an event, and thank you all for doing this!
New goal: Be able to join Mike in making something like this. That looks like so much fun. Hate that the series is over, but thoroughly enjoyed it.
Loved the shorts when they came out and enjoyed this series a lot more than i thought i would. Congratulations to all of the teams, a proper race!
You all were so awesome! Congratulations and thanks for staying in the race...❤
Finally got the finish. how much fun was that? If you have a Senior division next time, count me in!!! PS. Where was the ferry?
The ferry was about 60kms south of Revelstoke.
The trains are what drew me here, but I absolutely love this series!!! Thank you!!!
Thanks for introducing me to a new “thing.” I wasn’t sure I wanted to watch your bike videos and I ended up LOVING them! Thanks to all the racers. Congratulations!
Mike, this has got to be your best series and for such an important cause. Thank you so much. ❤
I hope you get TONS of views and engagement for these videos. Excellent documentary!
what a wonderful video....I cried and laughed....congratulations to all the teams!!...I was for everybody...I wanted everyone to win!!! I got my hat today! So Grateful...Glad I could help such a great cause...Mr. Downie you are a remarkable person...I dont know where your going but i will always be there....the quality of these videos and the scenery was outstanding...it takes a army and that showed!!
Awesome job by all. Such a great cause and a lot of hard work to get to the finish line. Hopefully you get lots of donations from the video's. Congrats to all.
So awesome for all the teams and for you and your team too DownieLive!! Great idea to rent a convertible to pace the teams for "instant interviews" during the race.
I am so excited about these alternate transportation videos esp with all these wonderful people and the community
You're an excellent narrator too
The went up from Mount Begbie Road to HIghway 23S via Clough Road! that's a tough one!! 1km at 11% grade, they passed my house at 3:53 haha I missed it!
what a beautiful bunch of people, hats off!
Wirth hats off?
Hat purchased to support both company and charity. Been a fun series to follow and certainly a good cause
This was just beautiful. Thank you.
Thanks man, that was awesome, such a good cause...!! Congratulations to all the Teams, they give us a huge example to all cyclists around the Globe... 🙏🚲🚲🚲🚲😊👍
Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching!
Wow! Lots of great comments. I would love to have access to some of the pics you took along the way. (i’m Zac’s mom- Team USA). Thank you for such an awesome video!!!
It's a great end to a beautiful series
These videos have been so fantastic! Thank you from the Team USA families!!
Outstanding, compelling series. Well done to all involved.
Great series! I loved it!
A hearty well-done to all the cyclists and support crew for making this amazing event a reality!
Such a great finish! Glad I was able to experience this in person :)
So glad you could be there too, Seb! Thanks for coming out. 😊
Loved seeing this series, after having watched the first quad tandem years back! Shame that less people watched, but still amazing you went for it again. Team Canada is one hell of a motivation
Honest I only watched because I got hooked after the first day .. I am not a biking fan in any sense of the word , but the people on the teams and the cause they were racing for .. all got ahold of my heart and I had to watch .. it was worth every moment and I’m now pretty excited to see just where you do turn up Next Mike 😊thank you for this .. I even told an actual bike rider about this show at the Drs office that’s how much of an impression that you all have made .
That’s amazing! Thank you, Rikkie!
Amazing, and such a fantastic cause!!
a few months late but i loved this series! you really told a great story and helped everyone tell their story as individuals and a team. great job!
Thank you so much!
Awesome, well done by all, great series, great cause......congrats to all on a job well done
Fantastic series! Great job to the teams and to Mike!
awesome, this series has been great content. Love the branching out, this was very entertaining.
It's always great to see any endurance biking trip! Thank you for bringing this excellent series! Congrats to all teams!
Great series of blogs.❤
Ferry should be interesting! Watching now!!
Such an incredible series! You all are incredible heros fundraising for mental health! Greatest place for a first line at El taco to refuel the body, mind and soul❤❤❤❤ love your videos! Thank you for everything
This is a awesome video I love all the different angles and the way you filmed. Thanks so much
That was awesome to watch!
Congrats to all the teams and the people who worked hard on organizing everything.
Love this series and the message it promotes! Congrats on all the team
Loved watching this series - great work
You got me the first video i saw because of your working for mental health. Good work Mike. ❤
This was a great race.
So hype the New Zealand boys made it to the ferry. Everybody won the first bit imo.
Such a lovely story of camaraderie and positive feelings
That was a well told adventure. The story of persistence over the many challenges, both physical and mental, was inspiring. Now I need to go buy my hat. Thank you for a wonderful video.
Great series!!!
This is by far the best video I have seen. Thank You!❤❤ 😊
This race is exciting stuff!
❤ how casual and relaxed my fellow Americans were! Always ones of the first to strip down to their skivvies after the race each day 😂
Been waiting on this upload 🙏🏾
Loved this series!
The women in team GB must be serious athletes.
Given the space, and the force impulse issues... I thing it would make sense for the pedals to be offset by 45 to 90 degrees. Lower the force on the chains and tires, and causing less wasted energy.
i am thrilled and amazed! great work guys and kudos to EVERYONE who contributed to this beautiful work! It is to always be praised!
I said it before... *KNEE PADS and ELBOW PADS!*
Canada has some good views i would love to ride my motorcycle there
Awesome series and for a great cause. I’m hoping for 2024 series, not sure the riders are 🤔😁🚵♂️
Amazing!
When you announced the series I wasn't sure. I watched it and enjoyed every episode. I was sad that it ended lol.
I think that you can make any type of content and turn it into something amazing!
I have the members ready for the Irish Team next year!
Please let us join. Just want to support this work!
@DownieLive !!! What do you say to this? Can we come up with something 😃
of course! Email ben@wirthhats.com to be added.
43:35 I bet the best part of being on the front is not having to smell everyone else’s farts 🤣🤣🤣
Great video. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I live in Vancouver and I have 3 other friends that want to ride together. How do we get a quad tandem bike?
Awesome ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Let gooooo 💯🔥
That front fork of Team USA makes me SO NERVOUS every single time its on camera. At such an acute angle, so wobbly.....
I enjoyed this! And I totally support you in any and every way you take your channel. We come to hang out with you. I don’t really think it matters what you’re doing. 😊
Thanks so much. That means a lot to hear. It takes a little “pressure” off my shoulders.
😊
Puro divertimento e umiltà 😂Questo è sport.
Like some other comments not into this type of video. But will always give it a like. Why because its Downielive.🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
What a great event. I bet you next year someone is going to get the tech superb. Like Americas Cup the tech will be the most important single factor till they all have perfect tech, then it will be back to skills....
Does anybody know GPS for the beach/campground at the end of day seven?
@downielive
I want an Angus t shirt that says, “just sort it out”❤
Never noticed this before today's episode but Team USA have some really sharp rake on the front of their bike. Was that caused by an accident like NZ or did they start with a sharp rake, for those not in the know the rake is how far forward the front forks are set in advance of vertical for the TEAM US bike. Google biking only takes into account single passenger bikes, of average abilities, hence 22km/h is about right for an hour.
Great Britain stopping right before the line is kinda funny
Team Canada men need to call Phil.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I was more invested in who came 2nd all the way till the final race, team America pushed hard on that one.
How does one start a team? Or quality?
Email Ben@wirthhats.com
❤🎉😄yay!!
what's the next adventure? I have a suggestion how about top 10 glass bridges? And take someone who is afraid of heights. hehe
team GB are the champions, but every team won really, great event can't wit for the next one.
Three episodes for the quad tandem race...seems like a missed opportunity here. ;)
Why is the last video one up but not the first video
Is canada racing
I suffer with mental health issues. I pay for my mental health care out of pocket. I know it’s rough. I bought a hat!

The forks of the blue USA bike just look more and more out of shape the longer this episode goes on.
Why is the UK team flying their flag upside down?
Those bikes look unbelievably underbuilt/poorly designed. Lots of courage to ride em!
