- We did the Picket Post Loop Trail in mid-December. This Loop is a little over 8.7 miles and exposes you to all the flavors of Arizona. We started out in the rugged Arizona desert but as we continued around Picket Post Mountain, the terrain and geography changes. As we got around the far side we were in a lush canyon with lots of vegetation. The cotton woods were rampant with the fall foliage. Then to throw a cherry on top, Palm Trees. All we can say is WOW.

Looks like a great hike.
It was an amazing hike. Sorry you guys weren't able to head over this way. Hope everything is OK with your truck.
Gorgeous! I want to hike to the top 😀 Added to my Arizona list...maybe on my trip next year! Thanks for sharing❤
We want to go to the top as well. We are running out of time to do it this time. We will have to put it on our list for next year. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Wow, what a great hike! Thanks for sharing. We love watching spring wildflowers bloom! Look forward to getting to know you. - Michelle & Brian
Thank you for watching and commenting. We really appreciate it. We are looking forward to following your adventures too.
What a fantastic hike. Loved the changes in scenery and vegetation. The autumn trees in the canyon were lovely and so different to the cacti which are spectacular. Looked like it was getting a bit dark towards the end with the sun setting behind the rocks 😮 Thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes, it was getting dark, but we made it. It was a nice hike.
We were really surprised by Arnett Canyon. The canyon will soon be full of spring wildflowers. That would be beautiful to see. Thanks for watching guys!❤
This looked fun! I hate when I forget to download the map ... good thing you had studied it well. Seems like you guys picked a good time of year to visit - I love the stark contrast between the arid desert landscape on one side and the lush, verdant scenery on the other. Love the footage and editing - that is a super beautiful place and we will look to visit next time we are in the area. Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you for watching and commenting. Hope you guys had fun at the American Girl Mine.
This was definitely a beautiful hike! Wish we were going to be here to see the wildflowers bloomed in Arnett Canyon.😊

We have been using All Trails down here in the desert and just didn't hit that download button. Oh well, we survived. It was an amazing hike. Thank you for watching and commenting. Love you guys!

Beautiful country and hike. I am a rock hounder and interested in what special finds she found. I only keep small special pieces.
That's awesome. We actually do quite a bit of rock hounding ourselves. We have a couple videos on our channel. Check out:

That's a great trail name! Nice to meet you too! What is your favorite hike you've done? Thank you so much for watching!.❤
Looks to be bicycle friendly. Are they allowed? Thanks for sharing.
We aren't positive, but we don't think they are allowed. It had been a couple of months since we were there. We can say that over the 8.5 miles, we didn't see a single bike or any tire marks.
